Set Induction (5 minutes)

Presentation (20 minutes)

Recite simple poems and chant nursery rhymes by going in with words and phrases in the text provided.

Teacher read aloud the simple poem with correct pronunciation and pupils must to follow it. Teacher asks pupils to underline, identifying and speak aloud the rhyming words in the passage. (POEMS) An apple a day keeps the doctor away Apple in the morning - Doctor's warning Roast apple at night - starves the doctor outright Eat an apple going to bed - knock the doctor on the head

how to say rhyming words. The rhyming words on flashcard are : day-away morning-warning night-outright bed-head

how to say rhyming words based on the flashcards provided. Pupils listen carefully. Teacher asks the pupils to repeat and try to pronounce the words carefully. The pupils work in pair. Pupil A claps their hand if pupil B recite the line that have and say it together the words that rhyme together. Teacher asks question. Several pupils are chosen to give the answer of the question.
