Las vacaciones
Periodo que nuestros hijos esperan ansiosamente porque es su periodo de descanso, pero al acercarse
las vacaciones de nuestros nios, los padres empezamos a preocuparnos y nos invade la idea, de que
tengan todo el da libre en casa y nos produce angustia y cuestionamientos.
Qu hacer en Vacaciones?
Cul es la manera ms eficiente de organizarles su tiempo?
Es necesario que mantengan una mnima rutina de estudio o repaso de trabajo escolar?
Qu hacer para que no se aburran?
Estas dudas asaltan a los padres al comienzo de las vacaciones, no transformemos las vacaciones en
una poca de descontrol, en la que los nios duermen hasta muy tarde, miran televisin por largas
horas o se pasan todo el da frente al computador. Si a esto le agregamos el temor de muchos padres
que sus hijos olviden parte o gran parte de lo que aprendieron durante el ao escolar con tanto
esfuerzo, las vacaciones de los nios se transforman en un perodo que no es fcil de manejar.
Las vacaciones no deben ser sinnimo de hacer lo que quieran y cuando quieran. Los padres
debemos mantener un control sobre los horarios de sueo y comidas, aunque no sean tan rigurosos
como durante el perodo escolar. Lo mismo corre para los permisos, para las salidas de los hijos
mayores y ciertas rutinas mnimas de ayuda en las tareas de la casa.
Los nios llegarn llenos de energa, y con personalidades e intereses distintos y, por lo tanto, lo
mejor es prepararnos. Las vacaciones son una ocasin ideal para aumentar su diversin, afianzar sus
progresos y desarrollar nuevas habilidades.

Consejos para unas vacaciones productivas

Recreacin y Diversin.

La Unidad Educativa Atenas ofrece cursos que le van a estimular la parte lgica del cerebro,
aquella que est relacionada con el lenguaje, las matemticas y todas las materias que la escuela
refuerza o profundiza constantemente, y tambin van estimular la otra parte del cerebro, la parte
creativa, de esta manera estaremos favoreciendo el desarrollo y la educacin integral del nio.
Adems de brindarle periodos de relajacin y diversin, estaremos estimulando su creatividad y
las diferentes formas de expresarse, desarrollando su talento y habilidades.
Comparta el tiempo con su hijo.

Descubran juntos actividades divertidas que adems de desarrollar habilidades y talentos,

reforzarn las relaciones familiares.
Los juegos.

Los nios interactan y socializan, aprenden a seguir las reglas del juego y esto los ayudar a
aprender a respetar normas. Desde el punto de vista psicolgico, el juego le permite al nio
canalizar sus impulsos y emociones, fortalecer su autoestima e inteligencia emocional.
La prctica de deporte.

El deporte es siempre una actividad fsica que desarrolla la disciplina en chicos y grandes. Las
vacaciones son temporadas propicias para iniciar la prctica continua del ftbol, voleibol,

natacin, bsquetbol o cualquier otro deporte, se desarrolla en el nio habilidades motoras que
contribuyen al bienestar fsico y mental. Cuando un nio realiza un deporte en especial, esto
favorece la formacin de su auto concepto y el desarrollo de su autoestima ya que siente que es
capaz de realizar alguna destreza en particular. Por otro lado, nios diagnosticados con
hiperactividad o agresividad encuentran un buen medio para expresar sus impulsos,
canalizarlos, reorientarlos y enfocar su atencin y concentracin. Es importante que los padres
brinden a sus nios alternativas y que ellos experimenten la prctica de estos deportes para luego
mostrar preferencias.
Los paseos de vacaciones.

Los paseos en familia no deben faltar, sin importar la distancia, lo conveniente es que se dedique
un da o una tarde a conocer algn lugar distinto a los habituales, esto favorece la unin familiar y
los nios pasarn un momento agradable en compaa de sus seres queridos.
Actividades en casa

Durante vacaciones, los nios pasan ms tiempo en casa, pueden jugar pero tambin realizar otras
actividades que promuevan la autonoma y valores personales como la responsabilidad, el orden,
la limpieza, la disciplina; enseles a travs de actividades cotidianas, dndoles pequeas tareas
relacionadas al hogar, por ejemplo, dgales que le ayude a preparar la cena, puede preparar la
mesa o puede dedicar por lo menos un da a la semana a realizar alguna actividad en especial con
su nio, puede hacer que ambos preparen un postre sencillo o ensearle alguna habilidad artstica
que usted domine.
La lectura.

Lo mismo ocurre con el hbito de la lectura: no debe quedar de lado durante las vacaciones, as
que lo mejor es ofrecer distintas alternativas que les resulten atractivas, como libros ilustrados o
revistas sobre su pasatiempo favorito, deportes o cmics.
Repaso de trabajo escolar.

Al nio hay que mantenerlo activo y evitar el aburrimiento, en el mbito intelectual, sus hijos
deben aprovechar el tiempo libre para hacer actividades que no le permitan olvidar lo que han
aprendido y repasar lo aprendido el ao anterior o prepararse para el que viene, reforzando
eficazmente su aspecto intelectual.

Aprovechar el tiempo libre, con una mnima rutina de trabajo escolar, reforzando los
conocimientos adquiridos por los estudiantes el ao acadmico anterior para ingresar sin
dificultad el prximo ao.
Potenciar temticas especficas relacionadas con las asignaturas de matemtica y lengua que
fueron trabajadas dentro del aula durante el ao lectivo 2011 -2012
3. CONSIDERACIONES GENERALES:
3.1. RECOMENDACIONES PARA ESTUDIANTES:
Imprima la gua de refuerzo vacacional para que pueda trabajar.
Lea con atencin el texto de cada pregunta y sus alternativas.
Desarrolle correctamente las actividades propuestas en el documento.
La gua debe ser resuelta en un lugar adecuado, con luz suficiente y muy pocos distractores a
su alrededor.
Busque apoyo familiar para la resolucin de ejercicios que tengan un grado dificultad mayor.
1.2. RECOMENDACIONES PARA PADRES DE FAMILIA:
Asegrese de que su hijo(a) tenga la gua completa para su desarrollo.
Elabore junto a su hijo(a) un cronograma de trabajo diario para resolver la gua.
Controle el buen desarrollo de la gua apoyando el trabajo diario de su hijo(a) despejando
cualquier duda que tenga.
4. EVALUACIN DE LA GUA VACACIONAL:
La gua vacacional deber ser presentada la primera semana de clases a la maestra del
siguiente ao para verificar el cumplimiento de las actividades.
El desarrollo de este refuerzo vacacional tiene una valoracin total de 10/10 (diez puntos),
que ser tomado en cuenta en el puntaje del 70% de aportaciones del prximo ao
acadmico.
