Myth vs. Fact

Myth: My wisdom teeth arent bothering me, so I dont need to have them removed. Fact: Wisdom teeth dont always need to be removed. Some peoples mouths are large enough to accommodate their growth, and others have wisdom teeth that dont come close to erupting. However, there are many times when wisdom teeth should be evaluated for removal even in the absence of any form of discomfort, in order to prevent possible cysts, infections or impact on the adjacent teeth.

Upcoming Events
o Pre-Dental Society is starting a Member of the Month (MOM) award to PDS Members that show commitment and effort to not only the club but also on becoming a dentist. This award provides a great advantage when applying to dental school that shows your commitment to dentistry. o Application for the SMDEP (Summer Medical and Education Program) starts on November 1st.
