Spindles Lengths
Extension spindles are supplied as whole pieces in lengths up to 5 meters. For lengths greater than 5 meters, the spindles are supplied in two or more sections, joined by spindle collars. IMP OR T ANT E : As wire drawn iron is flexible, the use of intermediary guide bearings are recommended at intervals of 2 meters maximum (spindle 1 1/8") or 3 meters (spindle 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/2" and 2 5/8'').

Intermediary Bearings
Intermediary bearings, manufactured in ductile iron, are used to guide extension spindles. Ob.: To avoid bending, the bearings should be installed every 2 meters for 1 1/8" spindles, and every 3 meters for greater diameter spindles.

Gate V alves Covers

Gate valves up to DN 300 without reducing mechanisms and gate valves and valves with reducing mechanisms installed underground can be operated from the surface. Ductile iron covers, protect the equipment when closed, and when open, allow T key access to the spindle operating square to permit operation.
