Scenario Miss Daramanis, student of medical faculty, Sriwijaya University goes to Indralaya campus by students bus. She is sitting behind the driver. While the bus goes on, the driver smokes. Miss Daramanis fells disturb and ask the driver not smoking in the bus. The driver does not accept Daramniss remind. Instead, He tells Daramanis that smoking is his individual right. You can leave My bus if you do not agree with me !! Daramanis gets upset and does not accept the driver statement. In Her opinion the bus is public transportation. At the time, they argue about individual right. How you can solve this problem?? I. Term clarification 1. Smokes : The process of breathe smoke from a cigarette 2. Disturb : Interrupt somebody when they are trying to work 3. Instead : In the place of somebody or something 4. Individual Right : Private right to get freedom of the driver to smoke 5. upset : Feel emotional 6. Argue : Dispute about individual right 7. Bus : Public transportation for students of UNSRI 8. Hypotesis Miss Daramanis is disturb by smoke from bus drver cigarette so there is an arguing because the communication between Miss Daramanis and the bus driver doesnt go so well. Learning issues Main idea What i know? What i dont know? = Communication = The definition of good communication. =

How to communication well : - Be a good listener if there is somebody telling the information. - Be a good information. - As good information giver it should to show a good attitude and be a good listener (receiver). - Obey the ethic that is use in society. - Use the good information, good gestures and good vocal. Summary In communicate Miss Daramanis and bus driver should use ethicsof communication, good word, good gestures, good intonation, and good expression so doesnt make the missunderstanding.
