RETAIL STRATEGY With 15km of coastline, 1.4billion sq ft of BUA, Waterfront City was the largest masterplanned development envisaged for the emirate of Dubai. Taking into account complexities of urban form, engineering and transport as well as the characteristics and expectation of future residents Urbis developed a dynamic model to inform the masterplanning process to guide the timing, scale and nature of retail development within the project.
