Miles Accrual:
n Multiple opportunities to earn FR miles: Members earn FR Miles when flying on Air India, Air India code share flights, Air India airline partner's flights and when availing the services of Global Programme Partners which include some of the leading names in airlines, retail, lifestyle, car rental, telecommunication and publishing.

n Mileage Accrual: Flying Returns (FR) Miles earned are classified as Base Miles, Cabin Bonus Miles, Tier Bonus Miles, Partner Bonus Miles and Status Miles.

n Base Miles: The Base Miles earned for a sector equal the distance between the Origin and the Destination (as calculated using the Great Circle Method). Cabin Bonus Miles: These equal the Base Miles for a sector multiplied by the Class of Booking factor. Tier Bonus Miles: These are miles earned by virtue of Tier membership. Partner Bonus Miles: These are earned for activities on Flying Returns Partners. Status Miles: These are Base Miles plus Cabin Bonus Miles for travels on Air India and Air India coded code share flights. These are only reckoned for calculating Tier eligibility. These can not be redeemed.

n Automatic Recording of FR miles: Members must quote their Flying Returns membership number when making bookings on Air India flights and with other programme partners; present the membership card at check-in to ensure that the activities are recorded automatically. Members must ensure the name in the booking is exactly as it appears on the Flying Returns membership card. To view all the activities recorded in the Flying Returns account kindly login to your account and visit the My Account section. Visit the Claim Missing Miles section to add unrecorded Air India flights undertaken within the last six months from current date. For any missing activities, please contact the Flying Returns Member Service Centre with relevant proof of activity (i.e. original or clear photo copy) of: Ticket and boarding pass for Airline Activities. n Validity of Flying Returns Miles: Like most other loyalty programmes world-wide, FR Miles cannot be held indefinitely by a member. FR Miles are valid for redemption during the Calendar Year of accrual and three subsequent Calendar Years. For example, FR Miles earned on 15th March 2011 will expire on 31st December 2014. Miles that are not redeemed or extended before expiry, will lapse.

n Extension of validity of Flying Returns Miles: Miles due to expire can be extended for a period of up to one year for a fee of 10 Paisa per mile. Flying Returns Miles that have already expired can be extended for a period of up to one year from the date of expiry. Members desirous of such extension must apply within a period of up to one year from the date of expiry. The charges shall be 10 Paisa per mile

Miles Redemption:
Flying Returns offers you unmatched opportunities to redeem miles for award tickets, on the vast combined domestic and international network of Air India. You can also redeem mileage points on our partner airline's networks. You can even gift your award tickets to a friend, a family member, a business associate or any other person of your choice. Members can redeem FR Miles for award tickets and upgrades on Air India, award tickets on airline partners and on products / services of selected partners. Award Tickets on Air India flights can be availed Online through website www.airindia.in (Domestic and International ticket issuance) , by calling Air India call center at 1800-180-1407 (Domestic Ticket issuance and International Ticket booking) or through Air India booking offices (Domestic and International Ticket issuance). Award Tickets on Airline Partners can only be issued through Air India Booking offices. Awards on non airline Partners are issued through Member Service Center. The miles required for Award tickets and Upgrades on Air India are given in the Mileage Chart in following sections. n Air India Flying Returns (FR) offers 4 membership Tiers: Air India Flying Returns (Base Tier) Three elite Tiers Silver Edge Club (SEC), Golden Edge Club (GEC) and The Maharajah Club (TMC) created specially for our frequent flyers.

n Elite Club Eligibility and Procedure: On enrollment, a member enters the base level of Flying Returns membership. On accrual of qualifying status miles in any preceding 365 days, the membership is upgraded to the higher levels Silver Edge Club (SEC), Golden Edge Club (GEC) or The Maharajah Club (TMC). Status Miles are earned on eligible Air India and Air India code share flights. Status Miles include only Base Miles and Cabin Bonus (wherever applicable). Status miles are calculated daily for the preceding 365 days. Eligibility for entry/ upgrade to higher tier is evaluated daily. This enables tier members to enjoy tier benefits and privileges for an additional period of up to 30 days depending on member's entry into the club. View Tier upgrade and renewal sections of the website www.flyingreturns.co.in for more details on upgrade and renewal. Evaluation for downgrades is done on monthly basis. n Club (Tier) validity: Club (Tier) membership will be valid till the end of 12th month from the month of entry into the club. Eligibility for entry/ upgrade to higher tier shall be evaluated daily and evaluation for downgrades shall be done on monthly basis. Upgrade, retain and downgrade of club members are evaluated depending on the following cases: a) b) Upgrade to next higher tier: If member is eligible for upgrade to a higher tier before the existing tier validity ends, member will be upgraded immediately. The validity of new tier will apply. Retain: The Tier status of a member shall be reviewed at the end of the tier period. If the member has accrued prescribed number of status miles to retain the tier status existing tier validity shall be renewed. The new validity will be till the end of 12th month from the month of renewal. Downgrade: A member shall be downgraded to next lower tier if he fails to accrue specified number of status miles required for tier renewal during the validity period of the tier. Tier Flying Returns Member (Base) Silver Edge Club (SEC) Golden Edge Club (GEC) The Maharajah Club (TMC) n Tier Bonus: The Maharajah Club (TMC), Golden Edge Club (GEC) and Silver Edge Club (SEC) members will earn Tier Bonus of 30%, 25% and 10% of base FR Miles respectively on Air India and Air India code share flights. Calculate FR Miles earnings and check FR Miles required for redemption towards Award Ticket(s) through the Mileage Calculator. Post your queries, requests and suggestions and more... n Tele Check-in: Book your preferred seat by calling the Air India call center and Tele check-in for your flight as mentioned below: Members can call between 24 hours and 2 hours prior to their flight departure and tele check-in for domestic flights in six metros. i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore & Hyderabad Tele check-in is valid for Domestic Travels in India only. n Complimentary Upgrade Vouchers: Enjoy a one-cabin upgrade to Business or First Class by using the complimentary upgrade voucher(s). On upgrade to the TMC, GEC and SEC members will be awarded with 3, 2 and 1 complimentary upgrade voucher(s) respectively. These upgrade vouchers are valid for domestic travels only, when presented with a revenue ticket in eligible class. Lounge Access: Lounge access will be offered at the departure airport, wherever available, when flying on Air India. Flying Returns GEC members traveling on Air India in any class can access the lounge. Flying Returns TMC members traveling on Air India in any class can access the lounge. They may also take one guest with them, provided guest is also traveling on an Air India flight departing on the same day. Please note: Lounge access will be offered at the domestic or international departure airports, wherever available, when flying on Air India. Program Terms and Conditions:


The terms and conditions of the Flying Returns Programme which explain the nature and scope of the relationship between Flying Returns, the frequent flyer programme of AirIndia and a member of the Flying Returns Programme are detailed hereunder. The Terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time. The Terms and Conditions as given on the website www.airindia.in shall be applicable. General Conditions Of Enrolment Membership Cards Accruals Awards Upgrade Online redemption booking Premium Clubs Lounge Access Mileage Statement Renewal Of Membership Miscellaneous Data Protection 1. General 1.1 Flying Returns - Frequent Flyer Programme of Air India is a programme developed to reward individuals travelling frequently on services of Air India, its code-share partners and Flying Returns Participating Carriers as may be notified from time to time. Participation in the Programme by an individual (hereinafter called Member) is subject to these Terms and Conditions, which may be changed by Air India from time to time without notice, and shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by the member of such terms and conditions as amended from time to time. 1.2 The terms and conditions affect a member's rights as a member of the Flying Returns programme. These must be read these before a member quotes his Flying Returns membership number to Air India or any Programme Partner. Some of the clauses may be related to other clauses, and therefore no clause may be read in isolation. Quoting Flying Returns membershipnumber to Air India or any Programme Partner is considered as an acceptance of these terms and conditions. 1.3 These terms and conditions set out the contractual relationship between Air india and each individual member of the Flying Returns programme. 1.4 Definitions In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires: a. 'Air India' means Air India Ltd. b. "Flying Returns" means the Air India Frequent Flyer Programme constituted hereunder. c. "Member" means an individual who has applied for membership of the Flying Returns programme and who has been, consequent to Air India's acceptance of such request, allotted/issued a Membership Number in his/her name d. "Membership Card" means the Membership Card issued to Member of Flying Returns. e. Air India means Air India Limited having its Registered Office at 113, Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Road, New Delhi 110 001. f. "Flying Returns Miles" means the miles earned or accumulated by the Member for travel undertaken on services of Air India, its codeshare partners and Flying Returns Participating Carriers, as may be notified from time to time on, www.airindia.in g. Tier or Club means higher level of membership of the Flying Returns programme, by virtue of which, a member gets additional benefits. h. "Awards" means the rewards which can be obtained by a Member by redeeming Miles earned, as set out on www.airindia.in I. "Partner Miles" means the Miles credited to a Member's Flying Returns Account, pursuant to the terms and conditions of agreements/ alliances/ arrangements entered into by Air India for transfer of points from the loyalty programme of such other party (parties) in which the Member is a member or participates; or by accrual of such partner miles consequent upon the hire or use of the services of such other party (parties), or the purchase of products from such other party (parties). j. All Partner Miles may not count towards determination of the Tier status of the member in the Flying Returns programme. k. 'Bonus FR Miles' means the miles awarded by Air India over and above the base FR Miles earned by a member. Such award of Bonus FR Miles is purely at the discretion of Air India and these miles do not contribute to the tier status of the member (except the Cabin Bonus for tickets in First Class and Business Class) and appear separately on the statement issued by Air India to its members. l. 'Data' means information personal to a member. m. "Flying Returns Member Service Centre(s)" / "Airport Extension Counters" means the service centre (s) set up for the purpose of the administration and management of Flying Returns. n. "Flying Returns Membership Kit" is the Flying Returns Membership Kit provided to the member after undertaking first flight activity or during tier upgrade/ downgrade. o. "Gateway Points" means the first point of arrival or the last point of departure in India or any other country of travel. p. Status miles means the miles used for calculation towards club status. These miles cannot be redeemed or utilized. Status miles are sum of Base miles and class of service bonus for the prescribed period. All partner miles may not be eligible to be Status miles. q. 'Loss' means losses, costs, damages, injuries, accidents or claims (whether direct or indirect) suffered by members in connection with the provision of services or Awards. r. 'Processing' and 'Processed' includes obtaining, using, recording and holding in electronic or any other form. s. 'Sector' means a single direct eligible flight sector between two destinations, e.g.: Delhi - Mumbai. t. 'Programme Partner' means partners (including Airline, Codeshare Partners) and companies which include but are not limited to financial and insurance institutions, car rental, entertainment, hotel, lifestyle, publishing, retail and telecommunication companies who provide services to Flying Returns members by reason of their membership. u. 'Flying Returns Award' means an Award / free ticket issued to a member by Air India or its Programme Partner on redemption by the member of an appropriate part of that member's FR Miles from his / her membership account. v. 'Qualifying Flight' means an Air India flight or a Airline Partner flight, taken with the purchase of a paid ticket against the fare that is eligible for mileage earning. w. 'Qualifying Charges' means the charge or expense incurred by a member for using the service, benefits and facilities of Programme Partners, which is eligible for mileage earning as per the decision of the Programme Partners. x. 'Fraud' includes fraud, dishonesty and deceit and in particular: - Knowingly supplying incorrect information, including at the time of booking, to earn FR Miles. - Attempting to earn FR Miles for Sectors that have not been flown or are not eligible for FR Miles - Altering Air India or Partner documents to procure FR Miles. - Attempting to earn FR Miles for sectors flown by any person other than the member. - Using or attempting to use stolen or counterfeit tickets on Air India or Partner Airlines

- Attempting to earn FR Miles more than once for the same sector. - Selling, bartering and / or purchasing FR Miles or Awards, including attempting to sell - Awards by means of Internet-based sales or auctions - Knowingly benefiting from the Fraud or Misconduct of another member or individual. By applying for Membership of Flying Returns hereunder, an applicant agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions (including any changes as advised from time to time and notified on www.airindia.in) and by the provisions detailed on www.airindia.in All travel under this Programme shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions incorporated in or by reference to the respective tickets issued by Air India or any other airline concerned, as the case may be and also the timetables/schedules of Air India or any other airline concerned in effect at the time of travel. Air India reserves the right to refuse Membership to any person without assigning any reason or to terminate Membership of any person for misuse or abuse of the Membership Card or for use thereof not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or any breach of these Terms and Conditions or for misuse or abuse of Membership or any Award Tickets. Air India reserves the right to terminate or change Flying Returns or any part thereof in any manner whatsoever at any time without notice. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing and Air India shall have the right to terminate or change the Flying Returns Membership Kit, the Miles accumulation structure, Award structure, embargo dates and/or flights, the Miles redemption structure, conditions of enrolment, these Terms and Conditions, etc. In the event of termination of Flying Returns, all Miles earned or accumulated by the Member may be cancelled. Save to the extent permitted by applicable law, Air India will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with Flying Returns or from any termination or change as mentioned above. Air India shall likewise not be liable for any omissions or errors that may have occurred in the information relating to Flying Returns. Air India shall not be liable for any product and service offered or promised from an Air India partner. Air India will not be held liable for any action that may arise as a result of using products / services of an Air India partner. Air India may assign or deal with these Terms and Conditions in favour of any of its subsidiaries, subcontractors or appointed agents, to carry out any of its obligations herein. Air India shall not be responsible to the member for any delay in performance or non-performance of its subcontractors and/or agents due to causes beyond its reasonable control. Members are responsible for keeping themselves informed of the current Terms and Conditions of the Flying Returns programme which are posted on Air India website. Continued participation in the programme by a member will be regarded as acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of members to keep their mailing address, contact numbers and email address up-to-date. Any communication sent to members will be regarded as delivered when posted or emailed to a mailing address on record. Air India will not be responsible for any delayed, misdirected or lost mail. Any change in the Members' mailing address must be provided in writing, or updated online. Air India reserves the right to interpret, apply and communicate the Terms and Conditions as posted on Air India website. All decisions made by Air India shall be final and conclusive in each case. All questions or disputes arising hereunder shall be determined in accordance with the laws of India. Conditions of Enrolment Only individuals aged 12 years or above can be enrolled as Members except where the programme is prohibited by law and each member may maintain only one Flying Return account. Corporations, organizations, and/or other institutions or entities cannot be enrolled as Members. Eligible individuals can enroll themselves in Flying Returns by returning to the Flying Returns Member Service Centre (s) a completed application form or by enrolling online at www.airindia.in or by calling the Air India call center. An applicant will be regarded as a Member for the purposes hereof on completion of the formalities of enrolment. Air India reserves the right to reject any application for membership. If an application for membership is rejected then any benefit that may have been accrued by the applicant through the use of a membership card will be null and void. Members will receive a permanent Flying Returns Membership Card after making their first Flying Returns flight transaction on Air India. Prior to the receipt of such membership card, the member should use the temporary membership card provided to him after the enrollment is accepted. By signing or using the membership card / membership number, members agree to be bound by the award and redemption structures as well as the Terms and Conditions of Flying Returns programme. Each Membership Card is strictly personal to the individual to whom it has been issued and is Non - Transferable. Multiple enrolments by a single person are not allowed. In the event that more than one account number is assigned to the same individual (duplicate accounts), Air India reserves the right to merge the two accounts. Change in name and address on the member's record will be accepted upon written notification to Air India using the Change of Address and Particulars Form. Proof of name change is required. Members can update their personal details e.g. Telephone number, mobile number, address or email address online at www.airindia.com or by calling the Air India call center. Accounts with missing or incomplete personal details will be considered pending accounts and will be closed within 12 months from the last activity. Any tax, charge or other liability incurred by the Member as a result of his Membership of Flying Returns or the use of any Award or other benefit shall be to the account of and shall be the sole responsibility of the Member. By applying for Membership to Flying Returns, the Member explicitly authorizes Air India as also Flying Returns programme partners, to use his data provided to the programme and stored with the programme for marketing or communication purposes for an improved performance of Flying Returns or any other purpose whatsoever, even if unrelated to Flying Returns, as may be decided by Air India.In case a member desires otherwise, he may inform the programme in writing or by choosing the appropriate preference option on the website www.airindia.in during enrollment / updation. If a member does not have at least one accrual transaction in his/her Flying returns account in the preceding 36 months , as on the last day of any given month, Air India shall have the right to cancel / terminate the Member's membership. Flying Returns reserves the right to audit member's account at any time for compliance with the programme's Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Members may cancel their Flying Returns membership at any time by submitting the appropriate written notification and returning the membership card to Air India. At such time any outstanding miles, benefits and privileges may be redeemed by the member. Membership will be terminated upon death of the member. Any legal heir(s) of the deceased Member, may, on such conditions as to proof of relationship, production of death certificate, indemnity, etc., as may be imposed by Air India, may make redemption from the deceased members account. All such miles have to be redeemed within one year from the date of member's expiry. A member must quote his/ her membership number and name as mentioned on his/ her card when booking and checking in for flights on Air India and/ or using the services of a programme Partner. If a member fails to provide the required membership information accurately when

making such booking or availing such services, this may result in the applicable FR Miles not being credited to the member's account and Air India or its Programme Partner will not be responsible in this regard. Only the member is eligible to obtain information from Air India relating to such membership data including but not limited to travel data, FR Miles accumulated and class of travel flown by the member. Air India may at any time, without giving notice, change the Flying Returns Award structure by revising the Flying Returns Miles levels required to attain a particular Flying Returns Award, stipulate a specified period during which Flying Returns Miles cannot be redeemed; limit the number of seats available for the redemption of Flying Returns Miles to any or all destinations or on certain specified flights; alter the number or types of journeys required to obtain a particular Flying Returns Award; change or withdraw Programme Partners' affiliations; change the parties from which a Flying Returns Miles Award may be obtained / redeemed; change the length of time after being awarded within which Flying Returns Miles must be redeemed; impose a time limit upon the validity for redemption of any Flying Returns Miles issued by Air India or any Programme Partners; introduce and or review membership fees; and modify the procedures and rules relating to ticketing on redemption of Flying Returns Miles or other aspects of the Flying Returns programme. Air India reserves the right to terminate at any time, without giving any notice, throughout the world, or in a specific country, in which Air India is associated with its Programme Partners, the right of any or all members to earn or redeem FR Miles. Air India shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of, or to the Flying Returns programme or any of the facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to members, including, without limitation, Programme Partners' withdrawal or the withdrawal or limiting of any such services, benefits or facilities. Indian laws govern these terms and conditions. In the event of any disputes, the appropriate court in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Membership Cards A Membership Card, when signed by the Member is valid only from the date of enrolment reflected on the Card subject to the other terms and conditions herein provided. The Card shall remain valid for a period of 36 months from the month of enrollment unless otherwise specifically mentioned on the card. The card validity shall be mentioned on the card. The individual named on a Membership Card is the only individual who may use that Membership Card for any purpose whatsoever and Members can hold only one Membership Card at any one time. A Membership Card is not a credit card. It also does not confer upon the Member any right or benefit other than as laid down in these Terms and Conditions. All Membership Cards, even after their issuance, remain the property of Air India and must be returned to it if so desired by Air India or upon termination of membership hereunder for any reason. A Member shall notify the Member Service Centre immediately if a Membership Card is lost, stolen or damaged. All notifications shall be in writing addressed to Flying Returns Member Service Centre. Subject to the other provisions hereof, a new Membership Card will be issued to the Member within a reasonable time, after payment by the Member of the necessary fees / charges as levied by Air India towards the cost of processing a new Membership Card, and towards their administrative costs. This charge is waived off for The Maharajah Club Members. Until the new Membership Card is received, the Member shall retain all flight documents (ticket jackets and boarding cards) for travel performed during this period, in order to claim retroactive Miles credit. Accruals Miles are the base units of credits accorded to the member for his transactions with Air India or its partners, in the Flying Returns programme. Companies with whom members can earn and / or redeem miles are known as programme partners and Air India may, at its own discretion, add or remove any company as a programme partner from time to time. Miles pertaining to a member's transactions will be credited to respective members Flying Returns account. Miles may not be exchanged for cash. Members are required to state their Flying Returns Membership Number at the time of reservation and present their signed Flying Returns Membership Card when they use the services of Air India or any Flying Returns programme partner, to ensure that the Flying Return miles they earn are credited to their account. If the number of Flying Return miles credited to the members' accounts is incorrect, members should inform Flying Returns within three months of receiving their statement. A Member will be credited with appropriate number of Miles for transactions (as specified on www.airindia.in, or as may be notified separately) when the Member completes his travel on any flight on Air India, its code-share partners and Flying Returns Participating Carriers or for using products / services of other partners. Miles are credited only after a Member has actually completed travel and not immediately after check - in. Members are not entitled to Miles for tickets purchased but not used. Only certain specified transactions with each individual programme partner will be deemed eligible for mileage accrual. Individual partners' Terms and Conditions and programme rules apply. Miles earned for flight transactions are as follows: a. Miles are awarded for travel in First, Business and Economy Class on Air India and on participating airlines. No miles will be earned for travel undertaken on tickets issued under industry discount, agency discount, free or award tickets, infant fares and other special discount tickets as specified by Air India or airline partners from time to time. b. Tickets booked in O, I, R, X or N Class on Air India Airlines will not be eligible for accrual of miles. If any Air India itinerary has any sectors that are booked in one of these classes, those flight sectors on Air India will be deemed ineligible for mileage accrual. c. For tickets booked on charter flights, no miles will be earned. Individual airline partners may also exclude mileage accrual on certain flights d. To ensure credit of FR Miles, the member must make all his bookings in the same name as the name as printed on the Flying Returns membership card. e. Miles can only be earned once per flight for each person, regardless of the number of seats purchased. f. Miles awarded for travel on a sector are calculated based on the actual distance travelled, as calculated using the great circle distance formula (Ticketed Point Mileage), from the airport of departure to the airport of arrival, on the type of fare paid / class of booking (RBDReservation Booking Designator) and on the Tier of the member. For connecting flights, which require change to another flight number, the miles earned shall be calculated for each sector within the trip. g. For information on miles accrual rates for Air India and all partner airlines, members should consult the online table for accrual levels or call Flying Returns Member Service Centers. h. In case a Flying Returns member is also a member of Airlines Partner's loyalty programme, he / she can choose to receive Flying Returns Miles credit in relation to any flight in only one account. The account, in which the member wishes to have his / her activity credited, will

remain the same for all the sectors of a particular itinerary. i. In the event of any up gradation of the Member, Miles will be credited for the booked class of travel in which the Member was ticketed and not for the upgraded class of travel. j. In cases of multiple - sector journeys (where a separate flight coupon is issued for each sector) credit of miles will be the sum of the Miles of each sector. Partner miles may also be credited to a Members account if, a. The Member is also a member / participant in the loyalty programme of another party with whom Air India has any agreement / alliance / arrangement, and such member requires transfer of loyalty points from the loyalty programme of such other party to Flying Returns, makes appropriate request to the party and such party transfers such points to Flying Returns b. Consequent upon the hire or use of the services of another party with whom Air India has agreements / alliances / arrangements for accrual of miles. In all cases, credit of partner miles will be subject to the terms of the agreement / alliance / arrangement between Air India and such other party. The relevant terms of such agreements / alliances / arrangements will be separately communicated to Members. Some programme partners may disallow certain categories of their members from transferring points earned in their programme to their Flying Returns account. Air India may debit the account of a Member for Miles if credited incorrectly and inform the Member accordingly. No Miles will be credited in respect of flights undertaken on redemption of Awards under Flying Returns. Miles can only be accrued for flight and non-flight transactions carried out by an individual Flying Returns member, regardless of who pays for the ticket or transaction. Members must travel or use the products and services offered by the programme partners to receive credit. For unused tickets, unconsumed products or returned products and services, no credit will be received. Members are only eligible for credit with one frequent flyer programme for each flight or transaction. Where a member attempts to accrue miles, points or credits with more than one programme for the same flight or transaction, the miles, points or credits awarded for the flight or transaction will be forfeited. Requests for missing miles will only be entertained if a member has identified himself as Flying Returns members when making a reservation and the Flying Returns Membership Card was presented at the time of check-in for flights, or when making use of the products and services offered by programme partners. In the event miles not appearing in a member's Flying Returns Account, the member may request that the miles be retroactively credited to his/her Flying Returns account. Such requests must be made within a period of six months following the flight or transaction concerned. This can be done online or by completing a Retroactive Mileage Credit Request Form. Claims submitted online may be resolved immediately and retroactive miles credited in the next statement cycle, if all requiredinformation submitted are correct and match those on record and in system. Online requests for Retroactive Mileage Credit can only be done for Air India flights at www.airindia.in Members should allow two weeks for manual retro claim on Air India and four weeks for retro claim on Flying Returns partner airline flights, and six to eight weeks for miles earned with Flying Returns non-airline partners, to appear in their account before raising a claim for missing miles. Retroactive mileage claims that are made prior to enrolment in Flying Returns are only valid for Air India flights and must have taken place no longer than 6 months prior to enrolment. For enquiries regarding miles transferred from a non-airline partner's programme to Flying Returns, members should check with the respective non-airline partner's office where the original transfer request was made. Miles can be transferred from a non-airline partner programme to member's Flying Returns account; however, this action cannot be reversed. All partner miles once credited into the account will treated as normal Flying Returns miles for the purpose of redemptions. All partner miles may not qualify as Tier miles. A Member may also be credited with Miles on specific flights in specific classes of Alliance and code-share partners as may be notified from time to time. Accruals on flights of Alliance and code-share partners may also be withdrawn at any time. Members must ascertain that a flight of an Alliance or code-share partner, which they wish to travel on, qualifies for accrual of mileage points at the time they wish to travel. It is expressly agreed and understood that the onus of proving due completion of travel qualifying for Miles shall rest solely on the Member. Flying Returns miles shall be valid for redemption in the month of accrual and subsequent 36 months. Unredeemed miles will expire at the end of 36th subsequent month from the month of accrual (posting of miles into members account). However, miles earned between 1st January 2007 and 1st January 2011, shall remain valid till the end of third subsequent year after the year of accrual. For example miles accrued in CY 2007 shall remain valid upto 31st December 2010, accrued in 2008 upto 31st December 2011, accrued in 2009 upto 31st December 2012 and accrued in 2010 upto 31st December 2013. Miles accumulated by the Member must be redeemed during the validity of the membership, subject to the other terms hereof, failing which miles will automatically lapse. Miles that are due to expire or have lapsed for the first time may be extended for a period of 12 months from the expiry date. Members have to summit the written request for such validity extension. Validity of miles will be extended upon a nominal fee as set by Air India from time to time. (currently Rs.0.10 per mile) Transfer of miles from a member's Flying Returns account to another account in a different frequent flyer programme, and vice versa, is not allowed. Transfer of Flying Returns miles from one member's account to another member's account is also not permitted. 4.28 Account status of any member who does not record a single activity during any 365 consecutive days after enrolment or after the last flight date, will be made inactive. The member can contact the Member Service Centre to re-activate the account. Award The awards offered in Flying Returns consist of award tickets, upgrade awards and other redemption options as defined by Air India from time to time. A Member can redeem for Award ticket through Air India city ticketing offices, call center or through website www.airindia.in in accordance with procedures that may be enforced from time to time for issuing awards. Award Tickets cannot be issued through travel agents. Members will only be eligible for award travel if they clearly indicate at the time of reservation that they are redeeming Flying Returns miles for the flight desired. Guaranteed reservation in Economy Class for Club members waitlisted in First Class or Business Class does not apply for redemption booking. Miles transferred from partners are not negotiable or redeemable for cash or in any manner other than as provided in these Terms and Conditions. Flying Returns miles must be valid when an award ticket is issued. For this reason, members should ensure that ticketing takes place before the Flying Returns miles expire. Members must ensure that they have sufficient miles in their accounts before an award ticket is issued. Award ticket for child or infant requires the same number of Flying Returns miles of Adult.

Tickets for all award travel will only be issued for a confirmed reservation. Open-dated tickets are not allowed. All Flying Returns miles required for an award ticket must be earned by the same member under the same account number. However, if there is a short fall of miles for redemption, members can pool miles from his spouse's account. This pooling facility will be applicable only when the spouse has authorized his/her spouse to pool miles from his/her account. Member can also purchase miles for a fee as decided by Air India.(Currently one rupee per mile) Upon cancellation of the award ticket, the pooled miles will be reverted back to the spouses account with the original miles validity. The purchased miles will not be refunded but will be credited back to members account. Travel on Flying Returns award tickets is subject to capacity controls. This may limit the number of seats available for award travel on particular flights. Award seats may not be available on all flights or in all classes. In addition, some partners may impose blackout periods when award redemption is not permitted. All Awards are subject to certain embargo dates and / or embargo flights as indicated in the www.airindia.in, read with the notifications in that behalf issued from time to time. Members should take note of the periods during which and / or flights on which Awards cannot be availed of. Award Tickets on Air India's flights are issued in special booking classes. When making a seat reservation, Members should ensure that they indicate travel against an Award Ticket, and specify the class of travel required, i.e. First = O, Executive = I, Economy = X, so that Members are booked in the appropriate class. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being invalid. Any tax, charge or other liability incurred by the member as a result of use of any award or upgrade vouchers or other benefits shall be the sole responsibility of the member. For AI domestic flights members shall pay the applicable taxes and surcharges. For international flights, Fuel Surcharge shall also be payable by members in addition to applicable taxes and surcharges. A Member may request an Award either for his own travel or for the travel of any person nominated by him either in writing or by logging in in his account on www.airindia.in or by calling the Air India call center. Passengers traveling on award tickets with a confirmed reservation who fail to show up for the flight will be considered a no-show. A noshow fee may be charged. Miles of completely unused award tickets may be re deposited for a fee provided the miles and the ticket are valid at the time of re depositing. Any taxes paid will be refunded. In the event of a flight disruption, passengers traveling on award tickets will be re-routed as per the rules applicable for fare-paying passengers. Award Tickets are non - negotiable and non - refundable. Award Tickets cannot and will not be endorsable to any other airline. In the event of cancellation of a flight intended to be taken by a Member under an Award ticket, Air India shall not endorse the ticket to any other airline. However, in such an event, the Miles redeemed for that particular flight would be re credited to the account of the Member. Redemption may be requested for any cabin class of service available on the sector. Should the cabin class of service on which redemption is sought, be withdrawn after ticketing, or travel on redemption Award Ticket be involuntarily performed in a lower class, the difference in redemption requirement (by class) will be credited back into the Member's Flying Returns account. Cancellation or re- issuance or re-routing of an Award Ticket on Air India at the request of a Member will be permitted only if sought within the ticket validity period, and subject to the concerned Member's Account being debited with 500 Mileage Points for each such cancellation or re - issuance. In the event of cancellation of an Award Ticket, the balance Miles redeemed will be credited back to the Member's Account, i.e. the Miles redeemed minus 500 Miles will be credited back to the Member's Account after Member surrenders and cancels the ticket, obtains the Cancellation Certificate. If Award Tickets are not utilized or are sought to be cancelled after one year from the date of issue thereof, the Miles redeemed in respect of such tickets will not be credited back to the Member's Account. The date of travel on an Award Ticket can be changed within normal reservation procedures. Cancellation, reissuance or re - routing of an Award Ticket on an Alliance partner may be permitted. However, an Award ticket issued for travel on an Alliance partner may be cancelled, subject to the Member s account being debited with 500 Mileage Points. The Mileage Points redeemed minus 500 Mileage Points will be credited back to the Member's account. Air India may at its discretion levy additional charges for such changes. Award Tickets can be availed for one-way or return trips, for both international and domestic travel. Return trip award require double the miles of one way award travel. Award Tickets for any domestic/international travel will be valid for one year from the date of issue of the ticket. All sectors of travel on an Award Ticket must be confirmed. In case of a partly utilized Award Ticket, the Miles for the unutilized sectors of the ticket will not becredited back to the Member's account. Industry discount, agency discount, free or award tickets cannot be used for upgrade awards redemption. Upgrade awards are subject to the rules of purchased tickets. For upgrade award ticket redemption, a copy of the purchased commercial ticket or passenger receipt is required for verification and reissue. When a member claims an award in a class of service that is available on only certain sectors of a trip, a lower class of service may be substituted by Air India for the other sectors of the trip. The award redemption level for the entire trip may be determined according to the actual classes of service flown or the highest class of service flown. In cases of requests for Award Tickets for multiple - sector journeys where a separate flight coupon is issued for each sector, Miles required to be redeemed will be the sum of the Miles of each sector, unless otherwise specified. Redemption Awards are subject to periodic embargoes on specific sectors and / or flights as may be decided by Air India or the Alliance Partner from time to time. Award Tickets issued on Redemption cannot be sold or exchanged. In the event of any misuse of Award Tickets, Air India reserves the right to block or withdraw such Award Tickets. A passenger's use of an award is subject to the Terms and Conditions set by both the issuing airline and the airline providing the carriage. All carriage on and all tickets issued on behalf of an airline are subject to the normal rules outlined in each airline's Conditions of Carriage, copies of which may be obtained directly from the airline. Awards for travel will only be issued to and from destinations served by Air India and/ or Airline Partners designated at the time the ticket is issued and also at the time the ticket is used. The most direct routing must be taken. Obtaining all relevant documentation (Visa, travel permits, etc.), as required for the intended award travel, is the responsibility of the member. If not available, Air India will not be liable for refusal of entry into any destination by local authorities. Award tickets have no monetary refund value. Requests for all Air India Awards must be made to the Flying Returns Service Centre, either in writing via mail or fax or by requesting the same at www.airindia.in, in accordance with such procedures as may be in force from time to time for the issue of Awards. Requests may

also be made by calling the Air India Call center. 5.39 All award tickets shall be issued as e tickets 5.40 Air India Award requests for travel on Air India must be made at least 4 days prior to the intended flight date, where the journey involves an international destination. In case of purely domestic bookings where the online redemption facility is used or when the booking and ticketing is made through the call center, the booking / ticketing can be done at anytime, subject to seat availability. Reservations not ticketed within the specified time limit will be cancelled. 5.41 Partner Award requests for International travel must be made a minimum of 4 working days prior to the intended flight date. Reservations not ticketed within the specified time limit will be cancelled. 5.42 Partner Awards will only be issued to and from destinations served by Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines. 6. 6.1 6.2 6.3 Upgrades Upgrades are available to the next higher class of service. Double class upgrades are not permitted. Miles earned for travel using an upgrade award will be based on the original class of service purchased. Only tickets booked in C, D are eligible for upgrade award redemption from business to First class and in Y, B, M, H, K, Q, V class are eligible for upgrade award redemption from Economy to Business class. In an itinerary with multiple sectors, only the sectors booked under any of these classes are eligible for upgrade award redemption. All award miles/charts for upgrades are based on segments. Upgrades are available only on Air India and the Partner airlines as notified on website www.airindia.in Upgrades are segment based. Award Travel Flying Returns members or redemption beneficiary between 12 and 17 years of age who are traveling unaccompanied, are required to bring along a signed copy of the Unaccompanied Minors Assistance and Handling form, which is to be completed by their parents or guardians, during check-in. This form must be completed by their parents or guardians. Airport taxes / charges /fuel surcharges and other levies must be paid for by the members. Updates / changes to members' bookings will be sent via email. Members are to ensure that their email addresses are valid before carrying out online redemption bookings. Premium Clubs (Tiers) Silver Edge Club (SEC), Golden Edge Club (GEC) and The Maharajah Club (TMC) are the Premium tiers in the Flying Returns programme. Membership to Silver Edge Club (SEC), Golden Edge Club (GEC) and The Maharajah Club (TMC) is restricted to individual frequent flyers of Flying Returns programme. Corporations, organizations, and/or other institutions or entities are not eligible under any corporate membership scheme to the Club. Members satisfying minimum status miles criteria prescribed by Air India, as set down from time to time, would be eligible to join the Club. Only Flying Returns status miles earned on Air India and programme partners will count towards Silver Edge club, Golden Edge club and The Maharajah Club membership eligibility. Miles earned through any tier bonus or any type of promotional bonus does not qualify as status miles. On Air India, for travel In Economy Class, Business Class, First Class Status miles are awarded based on 100%, 200% and 250% respectively of distance traveled and the RBD multiplication factor. Miles earned through any tier bonus or promotional bonus does not qualify as status miles. No status miles are accrued for booking classes not eligible for miles accrual. Miles required for Silver Edge Club, Golden Edge Club and The Maharajah Club qualification and renewal are tracked and listed separately in the Flying Returns account and account statement as Status miles for the sole purpose of determining tier level status. These miles cannot be used for redemption. Qualifying club Members would be issued personalized Club membership cards depending on their club status. Any use of such card shall constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions in force. The membership number in club membership card is the same as assigned while enrolling under the Flying Returns programme. The Club Membership card is strictly personal to the individual to whom it has been issued, is non-transferable. The Club status is valid till the end of 12th month from the month of entry into the club. Club membership shall be renewed for successive one year periods subject to the member meeting the specified renewal criterion. Air India reserves the right to refuse membership of a club to any person without assigning any reason. Upgrade vouchers(s) issued to club members will be valid for travel only on Air India Domestic services. Upgrade voucher (s) is valid on a scheduled, single, one way, direct, Air India Domestic flight as applicable i.e, against one boarding card. Upgrade voucher(s) will be accepted at an airport check-in counter, subject to availability of space in the next higher class (From Economy to Executive or from Executive to First) only if the ticket in lower class is issued in specified as notified from time to time. The voucher will be deemed fully used upon surrender for an upgrade, even if the travel is by a child passenger. Request for special meals may not be possible in case of upgrades. Upgrade vouchers are not applicable during blackout periods. Vouchers are transferable but not extendable, refundable or encashable. Upgrade Vouchers with valid holograms would only be entertained. Lost/ Stolen Vouchers cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Vouchers will have one year validity from the date of invitation to the Club and are for the use of self or nominee. The Upgrade Voucher is a privilege and recognition offered to the members and does not constitute a member's right. Air India reserves the right to upgrade/downgrade the tier of membership based on the qualifying criteria. On upgrading / downgrading the member will be able to use his membership card till he /she receives a new membership card. Member will be able to avail privileges according to his/her new tier eligibility. Air India shall reserve the right to disestablish/ dissolution of the Club in the event of merger / acquisition or any other reason thereof at any point of time. Air India reserves the right to refuse membership to any person without assigning any reason or to terminate membership of any person for misuse or abuse of the membership card or for use thereof not in accordance with these terms and conditions or any breach of these terms and conditions or any award ticket. The Station Managers/ Duty Managers have the authority to decline the member's request for club privileges if so required for operational or any other reasons. Air India will make every attempt to offer guaranteed seat in Economy Class, if priority confirmation could not be made in First class & Executive Class. There may be occasions when due to exceptional demand on a particular flight, this priority confirmation may not hold good. During peak periods, access to applicable lounges may be restricted to member due to capacity constraints. All information, routing, available destinations and miles are subject to change without notice. The issuance of award tickets may be limited to availability.

8.15 Member's Personal data may be used and exchanged by Air India with partners for the proper performance of the Club. Furthermore, in order to enable Air India or their partners to offer products and services, as well as for their direct marketing or communication purposes, information concerning member and his/her Club participation may be transmitted confidentially between Air India and their Partners for their sole usage. If the members do not want to receive offers from Air India or their Partners, the member may notify the Member Service Centre in writing. 8.16 Selling, bartering and / or purchasing miles or Awards, including attempting to sell or transfer mileage points or Award by means of Internetbased sales or auctions is not permitted. 8.17 Any change in mailing address, e-mail Id, mobile and telephone number to be updated by the club member. Air India would not be responsible for non-delivery of any communication, in such cases. 8.18 All club cards, even after their issuance, remain the property of Air India and must be returned upon termination of membership or destroyed by cutting into four pieces across signature panel. 8.19 Loss, theft or damage of club card must be reported immediately to the Member Service Centre. All notifications shall be in writing addressed to Member Service Center. 8.20 Any tax, charge or other liability incurred by the member as a result of his/ her membership to club or the use of any award or upgrade vouchers or other benefits shall be the sole responsibility of the member. Charges for issuance of duplicate card is waived off for The Maharajah Club members. 8.21 Updations and amendments on earning of miles or rewards, terms & conditions and procedures are notified on website www.airindia.in from time to time. Members are responsible for keeping themselves informed of all notifications on the Club which are posted on website www.airindia.in 8.22 Participation to the membership in club is subject to the terms and conditions, which may be changed by Air India from time to time, without notice and shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by the member of such conditions as amended from time to time. These include miles accumulation structure, airline and non airline partners, upgrade vouchers, award structure, additional baggage allowance, the mileage points redemption structure, bonus, benefits and privileges. 8.23 Any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any claim against Air India. 8.24 Member may check the benefits and privileges of respective clubs as specified on website www.airindia.in. 8.25 Lounge Access will be offered at the select departure airports in India, wherever available as per eligibility of club members. - Flying Returns The Maharajah Club and Golden Edge Club members can access the lounge - Flying Returns The Maharajah Club members can invite one accompanying guest each to the lounge - Lounge access will be offered at the departure airport, wherever available, when flying on Air India marketed and operated flights - Guest accessing Lounge with Flying Returns The Maharajah Club member must be traveling on an Air India marketed and operated flight on the same day - For in-transit Flying Returns members, the lounge access will be offered only if the onward journey is on a Air India marketed and operated flight - At select international airports, Flying Returns The Maharajah Club and Golden Edge Club members can access lounge, at the time of departure or while in transit to board an Air India marketed and operated flight. 8.26 Lounge access is available only when flying on Air India marketed and operated flights or on specified alliance partner's flights. 8.27 For in-transit members, the lounge access will only be offered if the onward journey is on Air India flight. 8.28 The guests of The Maharajah Club members allowed lounge access with the member must be traveling on an Air India marketed and operated flight on the same day. 9. 9.1 9.2 Mileage Statement Members shall receive a monthly statement of Miles accrued and redeemed through e-mails. Quarterly paper statements will be only sent to members who opt or request for quarterly paper statement. 500 miles will be charged as process fee for each quarterly paper statement. Quarterly paper statements will be sent to members, provided member has done at least one accrual or redemption transaction during the statement quarter. Partner miles credited will be separately shown in the Mileage Statement. Air India reserves the right to determine the number of mailings of Mileage statements. Members may track their miles accruals and redemptions by logging on the website www.airindia.in Miles due for lapsing and miles already lapsed will also be displayed in the mileage statement.

10. Renewal of Membership 10.1 Base membership will not be expired, provided there is at least one accrual transaction in members account within 36 months of previous accrual transaction. 10.2 Base membership once expired will not be renewed and members will have to enroll as fresh members. New membership number will be provided to the members. 10.3 Club (Tier) membership will be valid till the end of 12th month from the month of entry into the club. Eligibility for upgrade to higher tiers shall be evaluated daily and evaluation for downgrades shall be done on monthly basis. Air India will evaluate for upgrade, retain and downgrade of club members depending on the following cases a) Upgrade: If member is eligible for upgrade to a higher tier before the existing tier validity ends, member will be upgraded immediately. The validity of new tier will be effective. b) Retain: The Tier status of a member shall be reviewed at the end of the tier period. If the member has accrued prescribed number of status miles to retain the tier status existing tier validity shall be renewed. The new validity will be till the end of 12th month from the month of renewal. c) Downgrade: A member shall be downgraded to next lower tier if he fails to accrue specified number of status miles required for tier renewal during the validity period of the tier. 11. Miscellaneous 11.1 Without prejudice to what is stated above, Members shall be responsible for payment of airport taxes, fuel surcharge, security, insurance surcharges (as applicable) and all other fees, taxes, surcharge or charges levied by whatsoever authority in respect of the requested Travel / other Awards. 11.2 Air India may, at their sole discretion, re - issue lost or stolen Award Tickets provided that they are satisfied that all procedures in force in Air

India with regard to lost or stolen fare paid tickets and / or other procedures as may be applicable from time to time have been followed in all respects. This may include payment by the Member of applicable Administrative and other charges, if any. There will also be a debit of 500 mileage points towards reissuance of tickets against lost or stolen Award Tickets. The Member will indemnify the airlines against any misuse of the lost or stolen Award Tickets. Re - credit of mileage points against lost or stolen Award Tickets, whether partially or totally unutilized, will not be permitted. Expired Travel Award Tickets will not be refunded or extended under any circumstances. Members shall keep their web account log in Password confidential at all times and undertake not to divulge the Password to any other person under any circumstances whatsoever and shall not permit any unauthorized person to use their Password. Members agree to be liable for all transactions made pursuant to the use of the web account log in Password with or without the member's knowledge or consent. Members acknowledge that Air India is under no obligation or duty to verify the authenticity of any person who performs transactions through the use of a valid Password. Air India will not be held liable for any loss, damage or expense incurred by the member however caused, through any unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized use of their web account log in Password. 12. Data Protection 12.1 On becoming a Member, a member consents to the following: a) the processing of his data by Air India or any Flying Returns partner; b) the supply of his data to other departments and associated companies; c) the transfer of his data to other countries; d) and the supply of his data to immigration and customs authorities. e) The Flying Returns member by subscribing to the programme agrees to receive communication being sent by Air India or its subsidiaries by email, post, SMS or telephone. In case a member chooses not to receive the communication, he should inform the Member Service Centre in writing. 12.2 This data may be in respect of information that the member has provided Air India on applying for membership, services the member may have received, or travel arrangements the member may have made with Air India. 12.3 In addition, data processing may also include the processing of "sensitive" information, e.g. racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs or medical condition. 12.4 If the member does not consent to the processing of his data as set out in these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part, then he should contact Air India and inform them. 12.5 A member is entitled to request Air India for information relating to his data to check the accuracy thereof on paying a reasonable fee thereof. He is also entitled to correct, amend and, on leaving the Programme delete the data kept by Air India. 12.6 All data to be kept by Air India is considered to be confidential information and will not be released unless it is used for the above purpose. 12.7 Air India reserves the right to refuse access to personal data to any person claiming to be a member when Air India is uncertain of the person's identity or authority. 13. Change / termination of the Flying Returns programme 13.1 Membership enrolment and eligibility, earning FR Miles, award travel, availability of awards and redemption are subject to the terms and conditions of the Flying Returns programme and are subject to any applicable laws and regulations, including applicable IATA regulations. Air India may change, add to, modify or withdraw at any time without giving notice such terms and conditions as well as any benefits provided in connection with the Flying Returns programme and any special offers or promotional offers made to any tier or group of members. 13.2 Air India and its Programme Partners reserve the right to change Flying Returns programme rules, regulations, awards travel, mileage award levels and special offers at any time without notice. This means that Air India may initiate changes, for instance, impacting partner affiliations, rules for earning mileage credit, rules for redemption of Air India against Flying Returns Miles, continued availability of awards, blackout dates or limit the seats available for award travel to any or all destinations (including, but not limited to, allocating no award seats on certain flights). 13.3 Air India may terminate the Flying Returns programme at any time but will use its reasonable endeavours to give at least six months notice to members. At the end of the period of notice, each member acknowledges that his / her right to use the services, including the earning and redemption of Flying Returns Miles, will cease. 14. Limitation of Liability 14.1 Air India and/ or Programme Partners shall not be liable to any member or his / her nominee or companion, for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the Flying Returns programme and / or the provision or the refusal to provide any benefits, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by the negligence or otherwise, and whether Air India and / or its Programme Partners have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not. 14.2 Air India will endeavour to ensure the availability of services provided by Programme Partners but will not be liable for any loss arising from the failure by Programme Partners to provide services. 14.3 To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law. Air India and each member submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them. 14.4 Flying Returns information on www.airindia.in and through newsletters: Flying Returns regularly reviews and updates the information on its web pages. Despite its best endeavours, it is possible that some of the information could meanwhile have become outdated. Flying Returns therefore cannot accept any responsibility for or guarantee that the information provided is up-to-date, correct and complete.
