6.A shaft 30 mm diameter and 1.5 long has a mass of 16 kg per metre length .It is simple supported at the ends and carries three isolated loads 1KN, 1.5KN and 2KN at 0.4m,0.6m and 0.8m respectively from the left support. Find the frequency of the transverse vibration:1. Neglecting the mass of the shaft, and 2. Considering the mass of a shaft. Take E=200 GPA (08)

The bearing span is 800 mm Because of manufacturing defect, the center of gravity of the disc is o.1mm away from geometric center of the rotor. If the system rotates at 50 r.p.s Determine Amplitude of Vibrations and Dynamic load transmitted to the bearing. ( 16).
