ACTIVITIES ON INTEGRATION OF ENVIRONMENT 1. Healthy and Unhealthy Children Show picture of a healthy child and a healthy environment. Hold the picture of the child and Ask: Do you want to live in a healthy environment like this? Why? Let the pupils share their opinions and experiences about being healthy Say a healthy child lives in a healthy environment and always stay happy

2. Mouth Parts of Animals Are you familiar with Dengue fever? What do you know about this disease? What is the main cause of this? What are the risks of having this kind of disease? How can you prevent dengue fever? 3. Care and Concern for Animals Ask the pupils to do sounds of different kinds of animals (By Group) Ask them to act like animals if they are living in a healthy environment This time, ask them to act like animals living in an unhealthy environment Do you think animals need a healthy place to live in? How can we help? 4. Caring for Plants Let pupils go outside the classroom and observe the plants or just look the plants outside the classroom if not possible to go out How do the plants help us? What would you feel living in an environment with plants and trees?

5. Composition of Environment Show a globe What do the earth made up of? Do you think pollution makes the earth a safe place to live in? Why? 6. Protecting and Conserving Environment What have you noticed to our environment as of now? What are the causes of pollution? How can you help in protecting our nature? 7. Safety Measures Against Weather Condition During summer, the weather is too hot. What have you noticed to our last summer?

It is a summer time but we experienced lot of rainy days What does it tells us? It is hard to predict the weather because of climate change. What maybe the reasons for this?
