Netherlands.
“Leonardo da Vinci” grant (“Unipharma-Graduates 4”
programme).
Short research project (“Improving the efficiency of cancer
gene therapy by intercellular spread of the transgene product:
role of protein transduction domains and endosomal escape
signals”).
Techniques involved: common molecular biology techniques
(DNA extraction, enzymatic digestions, molecular cloning,
PCR, western blotting), bacterial culturing, mammalian cell
culturing, fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry.

Language skills

Native Italian speaker.


English level = B2 (Level tested by the Shenker Institutes of English (www.shenker.com) on April
2008).
The English skills were further improved during the internship abroad.

Computer Knowledge

Excellent knowledge of Apple Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. Good knowledge of Linux,
especially Ubuntu (only as a desktop user, with no programming skills).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and OpenOffice suites.
Proficient in the use of Internet and email.
