Acuan dan Perancah FORMWORK : Hills Motorway M2 Upgrade Project.

Dalam dunia konstruksi saat ini, beton merupakan sesuatu yang tidak asing lagi bagi kita. Hampir di setiap bangunan yang kita temui sehari-hari entah itu jembatan, rumah, gedung bertingkat, bendungan dan bangunan lainnya menggunakan material beton sebagai salah satu komponen pembentuknya. Beton memang salah satu elemen konstruksi yang paling banyak digunakan digunakan di dunia konstruksi saat ini karena kelebihannya dibandingkan dengan material-material lain seperti misalnya baja atau kayu. Beton tahan terhadap karat, tidak dapat lapuk, biaya perawatannya rendah, mudah didapat dan memiliki kekuatan yang baik dalam menopang konstruksi. Namun untuk mengaplikasikan beton pada sebuah konstruksi, diperlukan suatu elemen konstruksi sementara yang digunakan sebagai cetakan beton agar beton yang dihasilkan memiliki dimensi, bentuk serta kualitas yang sesuai dengan yang telah direncanakan. Konstruksi sementara itu disebut bekisting (bahasa Belanda) atau disebut juga acuan dan perancah. Bekisting merupakan suatu elemen konstruksi yang berfungsi sebagai cetakan bagi beton sampai beton mencapai umur yang cukup dimana beton sudah dapat menahan bebannya sendiri tanpa perlu adanya lagi bantuan dari bekisting. Sebagai cetakan beton, bekisting memiliki beberapa syarat yang harus dipenuhi antara lain : Harus kuat menahan beban sendiri, beban beton, beban pekerja, beban angin serta beban kejut. Bekisting harus kaku / kokoh Sambungan harus rapat Mudah dibongkar Cetakan harus bersih dari sisa-sisa kotoran setelah dipakai

Saat ini, teknologi mengenai bekisting telah maju cukup pesat, terutama di negara-negara maju. Berbagai macam metode telah bermunculan saat ini berkaitan dengan metode pengerjaan bekisting, namun tetap mengacu pada syarat-syarat di atas. Salah satu contohnya dapat dilihat di negara Australia. Di Australia terdapat perusahaan yang benama PERI yang merupakan perusahaan yang menawarkan pelayanan di bidang konstruksi yang berkaitan dengan masalah bekisting yang telah menangani bermacam-macam proyek. Salah satunya adalah proyek Hills Motorway M2 Upgrade yang memiliki sruktur keorganisasian sebagai berikut : Project Manager : NSW Roads and Traffic Authority Kontraktor : BKH Constructions Pty Ltd Field Service : PERI Australia Pty. Hills Motorway M2 Upgrade

" The NSW Hills M2 Upgrade will widen the existing motorway generally between Windsor Road, Baulkham Hills and Lane Cove Road, North Ryde, and will deliver four new ramps to improve access to the motorway. The Hills M2 Motorway plays a key role in Sydneys Orbital network linking the north-west region to the lower north shore and Sydneys CBD. It is a key road freight and commuter route which connects the major employment hubs of Macquarie Park and Norwest Business Park. On a typical workday, the Hills M2 is used by more than 100,000 vehicles and over 17,000 bus commuters. Darling Mills Creek Bridge works were particularly unique and complicated due to their location in sensitive bushland and the close proximity to the creek that floods in heavy rain periods. BKH (the formwork, steel and concrete subcontractor) chose to partner with PERI due to the success from previously completed projects they required a formwork system to reduce the construction time. PERI and BKH decided on a crane handled climbing formwork to construct the 4 piers, the highest being approximately 32m. The piers were constructed in 4m high pours using the worlds most popular wall formwork system, TRIO Wall formwork on RCS platforms. For the head stocks PERI are providing Rosett Scaffold which was used as both the access scaffold and the falsework support for the head stock. On one of the piers that had its base in the creek an elevated platform was suspended off the column to get the base of the scaffold 6m above the creek bed." Dari informasi yang kami dapatkan, PERI dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan bekisting untuk bangunan jembatan, tunnel serta pekerjaan bangunan sipil yang lainnya menggunakan konsep Variokit. Konsep Variokit ini merupakan konsep yang menekankan pada penggunaan biaya yang seminimal mungkin namun menjadikan bekisting tetap sesuai dengan yang telah direncakan pada tiap elemen konstruksi. Konsep ini juga mengembangkan sistem yang didasarkan pada penggabungan optimasi muatan, fleksibilitas serta penggunaan bekisting yang luas sehingga bekisting dapat digunakan untuk berbagai jenis konstruksi sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. Sistem yang digunakan oleh PERI dalam pengerjaan proyek ini adalah : GT-24 The girder is a central component for slab and wall formwork systems and choosing the right one is crucial in achieving the highest possible level of cost-effectiveness. The decisive factors are the durability and handling costs not the original investment. Through the high load-bearing capacity and rigidity of the GT 24 compared to 20-cm high formwork girders, fewer girders, steel walers or props are required for both wall and slab formwork. Advantages : Light and manageable for slabs The use of the universal, rigid and durable GT 24 lattice formwork girder allows large spans which then reduces the number of components required for shuttering and striking. Strong enough for walls Regardless whether it is industrial or housing construction, bridge abutments or retaining walls, any ground plan and all heights up to 18 m can be shuttered with one panel using the GT 24. Cost effective in custom formwork Due to the higher load-bearing capacity and flexural strength of the GT 24, compared to other 20 cm high girders fewer components and support are required. This means: a reduction in labour costs with every use at any construction site! Other advantages Long service life due to the robust design with 80 x 60 mm thick chords, girder nodes with mini-dovetail jointing, steel end caps and side-to-side steel rivets.

Regardless of the height, the GT 24 makes it possible: One-piece girders up to 17.80 m long.

A cost-effective solution: Bridge formwork with GT 24 girders.

PERI UP Scaffold Units On basis of the PERI UP Rosett modular scaffolding, standardized scaffold units are put together. In so doing, the greatest possible flexibility is achieved using only a minimum number of the same components. They can be used for assembling a reinforcement scaffold in just the same way as for the erection of stair towers or a working platform this saves investment costs. Each scaffold unit is completely documented with drawings, parts list and proof of stability. In the assembly instructions, the standard erection method is clearly and understandably presented. The following scaffold units are available: PERI UP reinforcement scaffold erection height up to 10.60 m (5 levels) and a length up to 9.0 m (3 fields) system width 72 or 104 cm width of contact area 150 or 250 cm can be used as working scaffold in Load Classes 1 to 3 (0.75 2.00 kN/m) no ballast required in front of formwork or walls movable by crane Areas of application : all work when positioned in front of the formwork e.g. reinforcement work, closing the formwork, setting the formwork ties, concreting work. TRIO : The versatile panel formwork system PERI TRIO panel formwork is a universal and versatile formwork system, and with its 2.70 m and 3.30 m system heights, as well as a sensible range of widths, can be used on small and large construction sites. PERI TRIO requires only 6 different panel widths. With clearly arranged and practical increments in panel size of 30 cm along with one 72 cm wide panel, on-site material requirements are reduced whilst utilisation rates increase. Advantages : BFD Alignment Coupler Just 1 component for all connections - the BFD Alignment Coupler! It is the only connecting part required for : normal panel joints infilling spaces up to 100 mm panel extensions external and internal corners articulated corners traditional applications The BFD fastens, aligns and tightens the formwork in one operation. BFD is a german acronym : Bndig Fluchtend Dicht. For many decisionmakers reason enough to use TRIO in preference to any other framed panel formwork system. TRIO shaft panel TSE The PERI TRIO shaft panel TSE allows fast and easy moving of complete internal formwork units. When assembled, the complete internal formwork can be used for all floors without having to carry out modifications or dismantle any single elements. TRIO stopend panel This PERI system can be clamped to the TRIO frame by means of BFD alignment couplers and allows reinforcement work to be easily carried out. The TRIO MT/MTF stopend panel can be used with or without water bars. A long-lasting rubber lip on the centre section reliably prevents the fresh concrete from escaping. Easy to clean The TRIO powder-coated surface prevents concrete adhesion and allows easier and faster cleaning.

Safe: the TRIO TRG 80 concreting scaffold brackets could be mounted to both the horizontal as well as vertical struts. The brackets are immediately secured after mounting without requiring any additional bolts and pins.

TRIO shaft panel TSE allow fast and easy moving of complete internal formwork units. The inside TRIO panels remain in place for all subsequent cycles. As of the second climbing cycle, the inside formwork unit is placed on a shaft platform. This platform is based on folding bearing plates fixed to the respective wall section below.

PERI UP Rosett : Modular Scaffolding for difficult building structures Scaffolding with standard components replaces tubes and couplers. The PERI UP Rosett node at a distance of 50 cm offers connection possibilities in all directions. Thus complex geometrical structures such as on historic buildings with bays and cantilevers, or towers and spire roofs, scaffolds can be erected economically. The following versions are available: PERI UP Rosett 70 System width 72 cm, decking width 64 cm, for use as a working scaffold, roof protection and protection fans, suitable for load classes 1 - 3 (0.75 2.00 kN/m). PERI UP Rosett 100 System width 104 cm, decking width 96 cm, for use as a working scaffold, roof protection and protection fans, suitable for load classes 1 - 5 (0.75 4.50 kN/m). PERI UP Rosett 150

System width 150 cm, decking width 150 cm, for use as a working scaffold, roof protection and protection fans, suitable for load classes 1 - 4 (0.75 3.00 kN/m). Identical system and component dimensions make sure that you can combine T-frames and Rosett components in one structure. Because of the high load capacities of both versions, a simple rule for combining was enough to gain the approval from the site supervisors: Each part system is to be erected and anchored to the instructions on erection and use, no matter how they are combined. A completely new node was developed for the PERI UP Rosett modular scaffold which allows easy and safe assembly. The ledger connection can be turned by up to 45 deg in the rosett.

The shape at the end of the ledger together with the Gravity Lock makes assembly very easy. By inserting the wedge head into the rosett node, the wedge drops by gravity into the hole and locks.

SB Brace Frame : For single face concreting During single-sided concreting, the concrete pressure is transferred into the substructure by means of the SB Brace Frame. The PERI brace frame modular system has been designed for concreting heights up to 8.75 m and a fresh concrete pressure up to a maximum of 60 kN/m. The SB brace frames can be combined with all PERI wall formwork systems. All units can be quickly connected without any additional components. The required connecting parts are already mounted to each brace frame. All individual components are sized to conform with truck or container dimensions. Advantages : For concreting heights of up to 8.75 m and 60 kN/m2 fresh concrete pressure The PERI SB brace frame can be used for concreting heights up to 8.75 m and a fresh concrete pressure of 60 kN/m. Compatible to PERI wall formwork systems The SB brace frame can be used with MAXIMO, TRIO, DOMINO, VARIO and RUNDFLEX wall formwork systems. Fast element coupling The required connecting components are already mounted to each brace frame, and units can be quickly coupled without any additional parts. Optimized sizes for transportation All individual components for the SB brace frame system have been sized to conform with truck or container transport.

Komentar : Berdasarkan dari apa yang telah kami amati pada artikel mengenai proyek pembangunan HillsMotorway M2Upgrade merupakan akses yang cukup penting karena proyek ini menghubungkan antara daerah barat laut dari sydney dengan daerah pantai di sebelah timur, di mana pada hari-hari kerja jumlah kendaraan yang melalui jalur ini mencapai 100,000 kendaraan serta 17,000 bus angkutan karyawan. Karena jalur ini merupakan jalur yang cukup penting yang banyak dilalui oleh kendaraan, maka dibutuhkan waktu pengerjaan yang cepat sehingga jalur tersebut dapat digunakan dalam waktu sesingkat mungkin, dan bekisting yang digunakan pun harus dapat memenuhi ketentuan tersebut, yaitu bekisting yang digunakan harus dapat mempercepat penyelesaian proyek tersebut. PERI yang menangani masalah bekisting pada proyek Hills Motorway M2 Upgrade menggunakan beberapa metode dalam pengerjaan proyek ini. Berdasarkan apa yang kelompok kami amati, metode-metode yang digunakan oleh PERI ini selain menekankan pada metode yang mudah dilaksanakan, namun juga menekankan pada penekanan biaya yang seminimal mungkin sehingga konstruksi dapat diselesaikan dengan cepat namun dengan biaya yang minimal sehingga hal ini akan menjadikan proyek tersebut lebih ekonomis. Untuk permasalahan girder, PERI menggunakan GT-24. Pertimbangan PERI menggunakan GT-24 sebagai girder didasarkan pada kekakuannya serta kemampuannya dalam menahan beban yang cukup besar dengan komponen serta topangan yang sedikit. Hal ini tentunya akan berimbas pada pemasangan yang lebih mudah karena komponen yang digunakan tidak terlalu banyak dan penggunaan alat yang tidak banyak pula sehingga hal ini mengurangi biaya pengerjaan terutama pada biaya pekerja yang semakin murah karena semakin mudah pemasangan maka semakin sedikit jumlah pekerja yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu (durability) juga diperhatikan agar bahan dapat digunakan kembali. Pada bagian scaffolding, sistem yang digunakan PERI (PERI Up Scafolds Unit) menurut kami dapat memenuhi persyaratan pengerjaan konstruksi yang lebih cepat, hal ini dikarenakan scaffolding yang digunakan memiliki fleksibilitas, yaitu satu komponen yang sama dapat digunakan untuk berbagai fungsi yang berbeda, yaitu satu scaffolding dapat digunakan sebagai reinforcement scaffold, stair towers atau working platforms. Fleksibilitas ini memungkinkan penggunaan biaya yang minimal karena hanya butuh sedikit komponen untuk fungsi yang banyak. Kemudahan dalam pengerjaan (versatility) juga meminimalisir biaya karena jumlah pekerja dapat dikurangi. Pada pembetonannya menggunakan SB brace frame yang menggunakan tipe pembetonan pada satu sisi yang menyebabkan beban beton dipindahkan pada sub-structure. Secara keseluruhan sistem yang digunakan pada proyek ini menggunakan komponen yang memiliki kekakuan yang tinggi sehingga kapasitas dalam menahan beban menjadi semakin tinggi. Komponen-komponen yang digunakan pada proyek pembanguan Hills Motorway M2 Upgrade ini telah diperhitungkan ukurannya sebelumnya sehingga tiap-tiap komponen dapat diangkut dengan menggunakan truk atau pun kontainer sehingga akan memudahkan dalam hal pengangkutan tiap komponen bekisting. Menurut kami sistem yang digunakan pada proyek ini terutama pada pekerjaan bekistingnya telah sesuai dengan syarat-syarat dari pengerjaan bekisting karena dalam proses pengerjaannya meskipun meminimalisir anggaran namun tetap tidak mengurangi kualitas dari pengerjaan bekisting itu sendiri. mungkin dengan cara menyederhanakan pemasangan komponen sehingga lebih mudah dipasang (versatility tinggi) dan berarti lebih sedikit pekerja yang dipekerjakan namun tetap dengan material yang kaku/kokoh sehingga bekisting tetap mampu menahan berat sendiri, beban beton, beban pekerja, beban angin serta beban kejut. Dengan semakin mudahnya pemasangan maka waktu pengerjaan dapat semakin cepat, sehingga pada metode ini didapatkan bekisting dengan kualitas yang baik, mudah dikerjakan sehingga dapat diselesaikan tepat waktu namun dengan biaya yang minimal. Dari proyek ini juga telah membuka wawasan kami selaku mahasiswa bahwa dunia konstruksi selalu berkembang dari waktu ke waktu. Berbagai metode baru pun bermunculan namun tetap berpegang pada prinsip pengerjaan bekisting yang harus kaku, kokoh serta mudah dikerjakan dan dibongkar. Hal ini membuka wawasan kami sebagai mahasiswa bahwa masih banyak hal yang harus kami pelajari sehingga kami sebagai mahasiswa harus selalu mencari referensi-referensi untuk membuka wawasan kami secara luas agar dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan di dunia konstruksi sehingga kami dapat bersaing secara global.
