This position is for a senior PeopleSoft Applications support engineer with at least +5 years of experience supporting the technical

functions inclusive of the database (sql ) in a dynamic environment. Interpreting requirements to design systems is also an important skillset. The appropriate candidate will have excellent English and communication skills, as they will be expected to update service requests, runplans and participate in client status meetings with Director and VPlevel client contacts. The primary support hours require U.S.A standard timezones working hours, inclusive of some nights or weekends in the event of production patching or upgrades. This engineer may perform one or more of the following: Designs and implements system requirements for customers and analyzes existing systems. Installs and configures PeopleSoft server hosts, components and client for 3-Tier and 2-Tier. Create PeopleSoft databases and migrate/refresh databases, objects. Support 8x PeopleSoft installs and upgrades to 9x and later as applicable. Implement load balancing for Web servers and application servers and monitor. PeopleBooks installation with search features and F1 features. Maintain integrity and internal consistency of the database using DDDAUDIT, SYSAUDIT reports periodically. Migrate Projects from one environment to other environments. Download and Apply Tax update; install patches periodically when they are released. Upgrade database and People Tools in tune with application upgrades and patch installations application releases approved list by PeopleSoft. Install Change Assist for Upgrade in newer versions of PeopleSoft. Troubleshoot and fix performance issues with People code, App engine, SQR and other PeopleSoft programs. Perform database modeling, Logical & Physical Design; SQL setups for PSFT, cluster design, setup and maintenance, SQL admin. Plan /Execute clustering of databases / application servers and stand by process schedulers for maximum availability for all applications. Provide infrastructure documentation as required (e.g. Network and connectivity schemes, Hardware specifications, logical and physical architecture drawings) Review Business Blueprint and provide feedback (infrastructure impact, capacity requirements, other

non-functional requirements), justify any deviation from the PDD efforts with appropriate rationale. Mitigate performance problems before go-live based on performance test results, including performance /Hardware tuning activities. Review System Cutover and migration plans and provide feedback. Perform tuning and reporting and make recommendations to improve performance as required. Update Procedures Manual, Asset database, maintenance schedules, monitoring, reporting, patching, update, capacity and refresh plans as necessary to reflect implementation of the project and related tasks. Perform application monitoring to verify the processing condition of the application Software. Recommend industry standard Applications Support procedures. Install, configure and maintain application Software version modifications, release modifications and patch modifications. Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting and failure recovery for all in-scope Software. Installs and maintains midrange or NT operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance. Evaluates system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Develops, tests, installs, and modifies computer software for operating systems, compilers, utilities, multiprogramming, and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Define, develop, schedule and monitor IT System housekeeping tasks. Develops and installs programs for large-scale or high volume transactions. Develops and installs programs to support general business applications. Evaluates and installs database management systems. Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. All other duties as assigned.
