As an Advocate he stands before the father on the grounds of Propitiation he made one and forever (1 John 2:1-2) In regard to Advocacy, God is "Just and Faithful", God wont demand again a price again as Christ already paid for it (1 John 2:1-2) His work as Advocate is intermittent, It starts with the fall of sin to the confession of sin (1 John 2:1-2; 1 John 1:9) In case of believer Sin, He cannot go on his Own, Christ advocacy makes him to Recover ( Luke 22:61) Because of Christ's advocacy work, a believer comes back and repents (1 John 1:9)
Christ as Priest
The following ten points can be by hearted so that we can enjoy the work of the Christ as Priest.
His priest hood is to Keep the believer from falling (Heb 7:25) His priest hood is for a time of period - our temptations and infirmities (Heb 4:15-16) His intercession as a priest s that we might behave well ( Luke 22:32) He is priest with God (Heb 2:17; 7:25) As a priest he sympathizes in our weaknesses and infirmities (Heb 2:17-18; Heb 4:15-16) As a priest it is His life on high that saves the believer from falling into sin (Romans 5:10;Heb 7:25) In connection with his priest hood His service is called "Faithful and merciful" (Heb 2:17) His work as High priest interceding for us is continuous. "He ever liveth to make intercession for us" (Heb 7:25). in time of temptations and trail, the believer goes to Him as His High priest to find help (Heb 7:25) Because of His work as a High priest, the believer can come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and grace to Help (Heb 4:15-16)
