Goal
We, the staff, students, and community are responsible for creating and maintaining a school environment that provides all children the behavioral and academic skills necessary to reach their full potential.

Expectations for STAFF


In order to reach our goal for the school the entire staff is expected to:
Own that all children are capable of learning and behaving appropriately and accept the responsibility to teach, model, and ensure they learn to do so. Interaction of teachers and staff with all children is caring, responsive, supportive, and respectful. Take necessary steps to build trusting relationships. Model and teach children the appropriate school wide and classroom behaviors of making good decisions, solving problems and showing respect. Monitor the academic progress of each child and use the data to make educational decisions in the best interest of that child. Communicate regularly with parents in a variety of ways to keep them informed about their children's progress and school activities.

Expectations for FAMILIES


In order to reach our goal for the school the families will be expected to:
Believe that their child is capable of learning and behaving appropriately. Interact with teachers, staff, children, and peers in a caring, supportive, and respectful manner. Use the appropriate school wide behaviors of making good decisions, solving problems and showing respect. Be involved in their childrens learning and progress by collaborating with teachers, staff and child.
