Prole I am a recent Graphic Design Bachelors degree graduate from London College of Communication. Having worked as a Graphic Designer and in London based galleries for the past two years I have had a rich professional experience and have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects within the art industry. I am currently looking to expand on this aspect of my career by continue to work within the art industry and hopefully in the art and museology eld.

Art has been a passion of mine ever since my introduction to it. Having mainly worked in art galleries during my creative career Ive had the chance to work with people of all ages and backgrounds; this has given me excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Having worked at both renowned and small independent galleries I have a good understanding of how the art industry works; this knowledge is something I hope to be able to apply in the future. I have proven to be both a hard worker and an intelligent and respected coworker in the past.

Experience 2013 Scamp Magazine Layout Designer (commission): Scamp is an alternative art magazine set to be released in early 2014. Ive been assigned as part of the creative team having developed the branding identity and the layout design. 2011 - 2013 Nelly Duff Gallery In-House Designer & Archivist (full time): At Nelly Duff I worked very closely with a team of two other people to put together, curate and design for ambitious external shows. Managing this whilst helping run a successful small business proved to be a challenging task. Apart from my design responsibilities I was in charge of managing our newsletter and press releases, schedule web orders, lease with valued customers, train inters, handle high value artworks and keeping track of stock of both materials and limited editions. 2012 - 2013 LILK Gallery Co-Curator (part-time): I have been employed by LILK Gallery for my expertise on printing methods and art editions, retouching work from print and assisting with show curation. 2012 Dragmag Layout Designer (commission): I was hired to work for Dragmag as head designer of the free non-prot art and lifestyle magazine, working closely with the head editor and creative director to design a themed layout. My duties involved communicating with the team, generating typographic designs for articles and editorials, laying out text and images and liasing with printers. 2011 Typo is Designer (full time): When organizing the Typo is show I was part of both the publication and website team. I was involved in almost every aspect of the show, from the branding to the curation. 2010 - 2011 Oxygen Model Management Booker & Designer (intern): My position entailed calling up models and clients to book castings, as well as designing the layout of the website, model cards, portfolios and branding development. 2009 - 2010 Saatchi Gallery Front of House & Events (part-time): My job involved managing invigilators on weekends, taking calls and communicating to the gallery ofce and working with security to ensure everything ran smoothly on the gallery oor. Working on events, I worked closely with the event managers and helped to set up shows. One of the most rewarding aspects of this job was having the opportunity to talk to visitors about art.

Education 2004 - 2006 King Edwards V, Suffolk (GCSE) I started my GCSEs in the UK in the middle of year 11. My optional subjects included Fine Art, Music, Humanities and Product Design and I proved to over-achieve in most of my subjects. 2006 - 2008 West Suffolk College, Suffolk (A-Levels) I focused my education at West Suffolk College in Fine Art and Graphic Design as I had a clear idea of what I wanted for the future at this point in my life. 2008 - 2011 London College of Communication, London (BA Hons) Graphic & Media Design - This Well rounded degree consistent of 3 modules and an electives: Visual Culture Theory, Typo-Graphics practice, Personal and Professional development and Advertisement.
