Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) seeks a qualied individual to ll fulltime role of Associate Art Coordinator at our headquarters in Roseville, Minnesota.

Candidate Requirements
A qualied applicant will have the following strengths: Excellent organizational skills Strong writing and communication skills A great eye for art, and an understanding of FFGs preferred style Artistic ability Knowledge of FFGs current product lines Appreciation for hobby board games, card games, and role playing games Willingness to take ownership of projects and problems and work long hours, if necessary, to solve problems and ensure the best interests of the projects and FFG are not neglected Prociency and experience in the following software applications: - Adobe Photoshop - Word processing programs (e.g., MS Word, Pages) - Spreadsheet programs (e.g., MS Excel, Numbers) Familiarity with the following software is a plus: - Filemaker Pro - Mac OSX Experience in the hobby game market is a plus Assuming those qualications are met, the very best applicants will also be imaginative, hard-working, self-motivated, easy to get along with, fun to be around, and enthusiastic about games and gaming. The base salary for this associate position is in line with hobby game industry standards and may be adjusted upwards based on experience. Job Description
The Associate Art Coordinator (AAC) is fundamental part of FFGs art department. An AACs main responsibilities are to manage freelance illustrators and work with game producers to secure art that fullls a given projects needs by an assigned deadline. The AAC reports to the Managing Art Director. The AAC role will entail the following: Seek out new artists and maintain relationships with existing ones. In addition to fostering relationships with existing artists, FFG is continually looking to expand its artist pool, and the AAC will be responsible for nding new talent, assessing their strengths and weaknesses and assigning them to projects that are best suited to them. Manage several projects simultaneously and see each of them through to completion. As an AAC, the majority of your time will be spent managing projects, which means being in contact with a great number of artists working on a great number of illustrations. An AAC must be fastidious and organized in order to keep all of their projects on schedule and completed by the assigned deadline. Provide feedback and guidance to illustrators on their work. The AAC must be able to provide clear, concise feedback to artists to help them realize the full potential of their work and deliver work that matches the assigned art description and the overall artistic vision for the project. Work with game producers to assess the art needs of their projects and assist them in writing art descriptions. The art needs of FFGs various projects can vary wildly from game to game and line to line. Each of those projects has a producer assigned to it, and it is the AACs responsibility to work with the producers to identify their art needs and then secure that art by the deadline assigned by the Managing Art Director. Work with Managing Art Director to fulll the artistic vision of projects. The AAC does not work in a bubble. All art assigned and managed by the AAC is done under the supervision of the Managing Art Director who is responsible for reviewing all completed artwork as well as assisting the AAC as necessary over the course of the project. Work with licensors to secure approval for art pieces commissioned for licensed products. FFG works with many licensors such as Lucaslm and Games Workshop, and it is the AACs responsibility to acquire art that both meets the high quality standards of FFG and those of its licensors. Art commissioned for licensed products must be reviewed and approved by the licensor. The AAC is ultimately responsible for communicating with licensors via email and phone and must work with them to implement revisions and address their concerns.
