*CGPA: Cumulative grade point average Major Projects B.Tech Project, July 2013- Present.Doing a Numerical Study of Particulate Suspensions. Basically, trying to simulate the collective dynamics of self-propelled particles using Stokesian Dynamics. Also, comparing the model of swimming presented by Vishwajeet and Notts and that by John F. Brady et al. Different parameters are being used to compare their performances. The project is being guided by Dr. Himanshu Tyagi and Dr. Vishwajeet Mehandia, Assistant Professors, IIT Ropar. Summer internship, May-July 2013- Investigated the Magnetization dynamics of patterned magnetic multilayer structures. PIMM technique was used for the studying the properties of samples prepared using lithography. Measurements for a wide range of patterns were taken and novel results were obtained for the same. The project was carried under the aegis of Dr. Jeffrey McCord, Institute for Material Sciences, University of Kiel. Summer internship, May-July 2012 - Worked on Relationship between Normal Anisotropy and strain hardening factor and effects of low temperatures on mechanical properties for Zircaloy-4 under the guidance of Professor Indradev Samajdar, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay at National Facility of Orientation Imaging Microscopy and X-ray Bulk Texture. Tensile samples of scaled down ASME standards were prepared and their images were taken at different stages of their deformation. Designed and made a portable Pedal Powered Washing Machine (with Dryer) towards the end of IV semester, under Dr. Harpreet Singh, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar - Although pedal powered washing machines have been designed earlier as well, nearly all of them were not portable and none of them came with a dryer. The overall cost was kept to a minimum as scrap materials were used for making the machine.
