GCMs Scholarships & Awards

Early Payment
All accepted applicants who pay their full fees before the 1st of June will receive 400 in the form of a reduction in the normal tuition fees.

Merit & Motivation

Up to 4000 will be awarded to the most exceptional student. The students will be assessed through criteria such as: transcript of records, achievements outside education and the motivation behind their decision to study at GCM. All interested applicants should submit a transcript of records, CV, a motivation letter and two letters of recommendation at: enquiries@gcmalta.com.

Loyalty

Students who complete their degree at Global College Malta and decide to progress to another degree offered by GCM will be eligible for the Loyalty Award. The total amount will vary according to achievements in previous studies.

After-graduation Award

This award is unique as it gives a chance to students who did not achieve good grades during their previous studies and are thus not eligible for Merit Scholarships. All students (except those who received a Merit Scholarship) can compete for this award, which will refund up to 80% of their annual fees.

The Bachelor of Arts in Management

The Bachelor of Arts in Management is designed to give students a general understanding of and aptitude for business and management. It provides a grounding in all the subjects which contribute to the development of the general manager.

The aims of the course:

The course will provide students with understanding, knowledge and subject skills relating to the principles and practices of modern business management. It will develop subject interests by introducing students to a range of specialist modules as well as giving a firm foundation to the crucial areas of accountancy, finance and economics and their impact on management decisions. The course will encourage intellectual curiosity. This will contribute to the continuing professional development of an effective manager and produce graduates who are capable of operating in a multidisciplined environment and in a variety of sectors and functions.

Modules:
The content of the course includes study of the following subjects: In the First Year: Management, Economics, Accountancy and Finance, Quantitative Methods. In the Second Year: Organisational Behaviour, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Enterprise for Managers. In the Third Year: Human Resource Management, Market Research, International Management, Supply Chain Management. Entry Requirements: Two GCE A levels (no specific requirements) and five GCSE passes (English and Maths) or international equivalent or a pass in GCMs Foundation Course. + English minimum IELTS 6 or equivalent.
