Free Citizenship & DACA Workshop

OneJustices Justice Bus Project, and International Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) are partnering to hold a free legal clinic for individuals interested in the process of applying for citizenship. Attorneys will be available to assist individuals at any stage of the naturalization application process. English language assessments will be provided on-site and staff will also be screening for exceptions to the English language component of the naturalization exam. Information regarding financial assistance will be available.

Attorneys will also be conducting initial screenings for individuals interested in applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Call the Following Office to Register: International Institute of the Bay Area

To receive assistance for the citizenship component of the workshop, please bring all of the following:
1) A Copy of your green card (both sides). 2) 2 photos (U.S. Passport style). 3) List of all your trips out of the United States including departure and return dates. 4) List of addresses and employment and/or schools for the past five years including start and end dates. 5) If you are currently married; spouses full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, alien number (A#), date and place of naturalization, and current address. 6) Information about all your prior marriages and about all of your current spouses prior marriages; including date of marriage, date the marriage ended, and how marriage ended. 7) If you have children, their full name as it appears on birth certificate, dates of birth, residency card A#, and address. 8) Documentation of all arrests and/or convictions, including reason for the arrest, date, place, and outcome/ disposition. Bring ALL arrest and court documents, even if the charges were dropped.

Instituto Internacional del rea de la Baha (IIBA) se ha asociado con OneJustice Projecto Autobus de Justicia, para tener un taller legal y gratuito para las personas interesadas en solicitar la aplicacin para la ciudadana. Abogados estarn disponibles para asistir a los solicitantes en cualquier etapa del proceso de solicitud.

Evaluaciones de Ingls sern proporcionados en el lugar y el personal tambin ayudar con la deteccin de excepciones a la componente de idioma Ingls del examen de naturalizacin. La
informacin relativa a la asistencia financiera estar disponible.

Abogados tambin realizarn proyecciones iniciales para las personas interesadas en la aplicacin para la Accin Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA).

Para recibir asistencia para el componente de la ciudadana del taller, por favor traiga todo lo siguiente:

Una lista de los domicilios donde ha vivido y trabajado durante los ltimos 5 aos, con fechas de inicio a fin. Si es casado/a, los datos de su cnyuge: fecha de matrimonio, fecha de nacimiento, nmero de Seguro Social, el nmero de residencia A# o la fecha y lugar de naturalizacin de su cnyuge.

Si usted o su cnyuge actual tienen matrimonios anteriores: los datos sobre su ex cnyuge(s): nombre complete, fecha de casamiento y de divorcio. Copia de documentos de divorcio/acta de defuncin.
Si tiene hijos, nombres como aparece en acta de nacimiento, fechas de nacimiento, domicilio y nmero de residecia Documentos de todos los arrestos y convicciones, incluyendo el motivo del arresto, fecha, lugar y resultado/disposicin. Favor de traer todos los documentos de arresto y de corte, aun si los cargos fueron descartdos.
