When you hear someone speaking negative, criticizing, condemning, or bad mouthing someone, how do you respond? The speaker may be confident that their words are absolutely true and that they are doing their righteous duty in exposing the evil of another. But whether or not they are speaking facts, it is still a sin to destroy respect for a person, undermine their reputation, and alienate others affections from them. !od condemns evil speaking, backbiting, reproach, slander"
