Employers Say College Graduates Lack Job Skills

Objective finding :

1. How to find the solution to make improvement on the college graduates job skills? 2. What the most important criteria student should have in order to improve their job skills? 3. What the most important criteria industry needs in the college graduates job skills? 4. Wouldnt it be nice if the student can fulfil the requirement that the industry needs in the job scope. 5. What do we want to accomplish in the field of work? 6. What university should do in order to produce a student that fulfil the requirement for the industry? 7. How to find the ways to make university and industry cooperate each other to make improvement in college graduates job skills? 8. Who should be blame wheather the student because lack job skills or university because did not have a better facility and good training or the industry because put a high hiring criteria requirement for the job?

9. When should student to be expose in the field of work in order to become a college graduates with the high skills to fulfil requirement in the industry?

Fact finding

1. Who should be responsible in this problem? 2. Who should be included to find the solution about problem college graduates lack of job skills? 3. What the solution of this problem? 4. What the criteria in job skills industry needs that college graduates should have? 5. What college graduates should do in order to improve their skills that fulfil the requirement for the industry? 6. Where it should begin to find the solution of this problem? 7. Where the right place that can improve the college graduates job skills? 8. When college or university should begin their improvement on the students job skills? 9. When college graduates should know that the job skills is the most important matter in the industry? 10. Why this problem should happen? 11. Why this problem happen to the college graduates? 12. Problem finding

1. What is the real challenge for the college graduates to improve their job skills? 2. Why this problem didnt find the better solution? 3. College graduates lack of job skills didnt meet the requirement for the industry.

Idea finding

In this stage, we give our idea to have a better solution. This is the step where divergent, creative thinking is most important. Either all ideas may be brought to the next phase, or narrowed to the most feasible. However, here are some general solutions : 1. Expose to the student the reality about field of work. 2. Give more hands on training to the student and make sure they know how to apply theory into a practical. 3. College or university should has a critical thinking subject that can help student to improve their job skills. 4. Provide an extra curiculum about job skills for the student. 5. Do the research in order to find the solution for the problem. 6. Develop the cooperation between the college or the university with the industry in order to fulfil the requirement that industry needs in their job scope. 7. Lecturer should share their experience and teach them how to be a good presenter. 8. Organise the seminar about real field of job to the student so them can prepare for the real life job.

Solution finding

In this stage, we gave our solution to this problem. In order to do that, we have to do some research to find some idea for the solution based on the article. Here are the solution we can provide : 1. Organise a industrial talk for the student. The company have to give the explaination to the student about what the requirement their need in their company so the student can prepare for the work. 2. Organise industrial visit to the industry. This solution can expose the real job, how the job done, how the company operate to the student so them can learn how the work is done. 3. The industry and the university have to cooperate with each other and discuss how to improve the student job skills. The college or university can ask the industry about the requirement that their needs in order to provide a quality student that fulfil the requirement. 4. Provides more hands on training for the student The college or university should provide the industrial training for the student. The purpose of this hands on training is to expose how the job done and how the college graduates imply their knowledge into the job. 5. College or university has to organise a program that can build a good character in the student. The program like critical thinking seminar should help the student improve their character. The program that improve the student job skills should be held under the university and the industry should be monitoring the program.

Acceptance Finding

In this last stage, a plan should be create in order to make the plan work. In this stage, we can determine whether our goal or plan will lead to a solutions :

1. The lecturer and the company management should monitor any program that can improve the student job skills. 2. College graduates should realize that their have to improve themself in order to fulfil the requirement for the industry. 3. The lecturer has to encourage the student to particate in any university or college program that can make them improve their job skills.
