The Spanish NBA players are doing a stunning season with lots of chances for being in the All-Star 2013 in Houston. Now, we are going to review the last matches with a Spanish occurrence.

Pau Gasol
He has done a spectacular game in the win against the Detroit Pistons 98-97 in a tight game that was finished with a nice basket of Pau. Finally, his stats are: a double-double of 23 points 10 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals.

Marc Gasol
He has done his 6th double-double in the win against the Golden State Warriors 20 points 11 rebounds 5 assists and a block. He do a really good game and he was named MVP of the day trip.

Calderon to The Detroit Pistons

Calderon has been playing for Toronto Raptors since 2005 and in his last year of contract, after years that the team tries to replace him, he keeps being loyal to the team, leaving a back seat to Kyle Lowry, and doing last matches like a MVP . Although his team did not want him, he has done this statement: "I'll be the best professional while Im here." Now he is traded to the Pistons, where it seems that his positive attitude and his good matches are valued for his new coach Lawrence Frank who promises him a starting place. Calderon statement about his arrival to Detroit is: "I'm happy to be in a situation with a team that really wants me."

The strange injury of Gary Neal

Last Monday, the San Antonio Spurs uncovered the strange history of the injury of Gary Neal that some reporters laugh. The Spurs player had a domestic accident. Preparing the baggage before a team travel, he cut on the right index finger with one of the closing zippers. "It was very bad luck," Neal explained to the media. "I was closing my bag and I grabbed my finger with the zippers, lifting part of it. These things happen. No other justification. It was only bad luck. ". Almost he explains the possibilities to playing with the cut in his finger: If it had been the last finger that touches the ball when I throw simply gets a little bit of sticking plaster and that's right, but being the index, but being the index you cant do it because the ball does not roll equal when it leaves the hand. Neal is playing one of the best season of his career, scoring an average of 10.1 points per game with a success rate of 63.6% from the field goal.
