Completion of my Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness will be at the end of November. This degree has given me a great base for the areas that USAA is looking for such as designing various health programs, individual and group instruction, communication and customer service, and knowledge of various fitness models. I am currently enrolled to take CPR/AED/First Aid on September 28th, 2013. I have also begun studying for the ACSM certification exam and will be prepared to take the exam in the next several months. As a current member of the US Army since 1995 I have gained invaluable experience in fitness and recreation skills in both individual training and group training programs; planning, organizing, and executing these programs to subordinates, peers, and superiors. Reaching the grade of Sergeant First Class I have also gained pertinent skills and values such as leadership, accountability, integrity, and respect just to name a few. I will be relocating to the San Antonio area very soon and as a military member I cannot think of a better company to start my new career in than one with such a stellar profile and reputation as USAA.
