Program Book

The Global HR Forum was inaugurated in 2006 by the Korean Ministry of Education,
Science and Technology in conjunction with the Korea Economic Daily and
Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training, under the goal of
promoting 'Human Resources Development for Global Prosperity'.
In its third year, the Forum will bring together more than 180 distinguished global leaders
from 40 countries to engage in an extensive share of dialogue on the theme of 'Creative
Talents for Global Collaboration'. This years Forum will focus on exchanging knowledge
for the fostering of human resources, as a means to countermeasure the recent financial
crisis facing the world.
Given the current instability of the global economy, international collaboration is more
vital than ever before. In this respect, the Forum's ultimate goal is to assist in
contributions towards the future development of creative human resources, and to
establish global HR networks between governments, universities, international
organizations and businesses.
At the Global HR Forum 2008, we look forward to an active dialogue among many eminent leaders
who work tirelessly for global co-prosperity and insights for human resources development.
