At Standard Process, quality is an integral part of every step in our production
process. We manufacture our products to preserve the quality of whole food
constituents using research, innovative technology, and organic farming.
Organic Farming

Our certied organic farm grows many of our products raw ingredients,
including alfalfa, barley grass, beets, Brussels sprouts, buckwheat, kale, kidney
beans, oats, pea vine, and Spanish black radish.

Our farm is monitored annually by certifying agencies to ensure it meets
organic farming standards.
Quality Control

We conduct repeated testing for quality and safety throughout our
manufacturing process. On average, a product is tested six times.

We follow FDA-established, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

We utilize analytical methods approved by the Association for Analytical
Communities and the United States Pharmacopeia.
Manufacturing

Our supplements are manufactured in our 280,000-square-foot facility,

Multivitamin
A Whole Food Multivitamin is Important for Health
Good nutrition is the key to health. The body cannot exist without food and
water. More importantly, the quality and nutritional value of the foods that are
eaten greatly impact health.
Foods today are often decient in good nutritive value for several reasons. The
Western diet is comprised mostly of processed and rened foods. These foods are

Calcium
How Calcium Supports Health
Calcium is essential for various body functions beyond bone mineralization,
including muscle contraction; nerve conduction; the function, maintenance, and
permeability of cell membranes; blood coagulation; and the proper functioning
of many enzyme systems. When selecting a calcium supplement, evaluate the
source of the calcium. The three most common sources are calcium carbonate,
calcium citrate, and calcium lactate. One major downfall of calcium carbonate is
that it is not easily digested and, therefore, poorly assimilated and utilized by the
body. Other forms of calcium, such as calcium lactate and calcium citrate, are
superior to carbonate. These sources of calcium are more easily absorbed and
easier to digest than calcium carbonate. Standard Process supplements are
comprised primarily of calcium lactate as it is readily absorbed.

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)
How EFAs Support Health
EFAs are unsaturated fatty acids that the body does not make on its own but
needs in order to maintain good health. We can only obtain EFAs from our diet.
There are two types of EFAs: omega-3s and omega-6s. EFAs are essential for
regulating cellular processes, such as regulation of enzymes, cell signaling
pathways, gene expression, and oxidation of fats to name a few. They also
inuence membrane function and integrity, produce hormones, and are
especially important for making prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are hormone-like

Liver and Gallbladder Support
Two Vital Organs That Work Together
The liver and the gallbladder serve as a team, working to eliminate toxins and
other agents that are taken into the body.
The liver is the bodys largest organ and performs more than 500 different
functions each day. Some of its major functions include synthesis and utilization

blending of these two plant species
