Our name literally means container of treasures. Here at Te Papa, youll discover the treasures and stories of New Zealands land and people, told with authority and passion. The Museum is built on a unique bicultural partnership, which recognises and celebrates Mori as tangata whenua the original people of this land. Our collections are spread over six oors of engaging, interactive displays.
