To rotate or not to rotate a chart: KSK shows the correct way
ome people love to thrive on confusion. In spite of having clear indication from late K.S. Krishnamurti with regard to whether a horoscope should be rotated or not, many novice in the field of KP astrology loves to follow unstandardized methods provided by people who operate behind cryptic email IDs on the internet.
It is a standard fact that a birth horoscope contains all the relationships within the 12 houses. For example, to know about the natives mother, the 4th house is looked into, to know about an elder sibling-the 11th house is looked into so on and so forth. Therefore, if someone wants to find from his/her birth horoscope whether his/her elder sibling will get married or not then one should look into the 7th, 2nd, and 11th house from the 11th cusp. This is a very basic practice in KP astrology. And this is rotation of a chart to the appropriate house for the person about whom you would like to know from your own horoscope. But a lot controversy is present in the minds of many as to whether in a KP Horary chart, one should rotate the horoscope to the appropriate house representing the relationship. That is, if someone asks you about his daughters higher education and he himself gives a number between 1-249, then should you take the number given by the father as the daughters Lagna/Ascendant? Or should you take the 5th cusp of the numbergenerated horoscope as the daughters Lagna/Ascendant and then look at the 9th house from that 5th house?? The answer provided by K.S. Krishnamurti, through his examples of the 1971 KP Readers is that one SHOULD ROTATE KP HORARY CHARTS TO THE APPROPRIATE REALATIONSHIPS AND HOUSES. In the next few pages of this editorial, I provide two horary examples taken from his 1971 KP Readers, which are self explanatory and illuminates anyone who wishes to see the light of the day. These two examples are more than enough to those who love see proof for anything that they cannot see with their eyes wide open.

lizabeth Taylor, the queen of the silver screen, wanted to be around with people she loved. She had stated this when she was almost died in 1990. She had spiritual, near death and out of the body experiences, when she suffered very badly from a viral pneumonia and recovered. But she was lucky to survive until she was 89 years. We have discussed about the birth chart of the most celebrated film actresses, Elizabeth Taylor, about the astrological indications on her marriages. In her birth chart, the fifth bhava falls in the sign of Aries ruled by Mars, in a star of Venus and a sub of Moon. This bhava shows all the details on children, in addition to another large number of matters, such as speculation, all types of arts, music etc. This sub lord Moon was occupying the eleventh bhava and Moon is the owner of Cancer. In this birth chart Cancer is falling between the eighth bhava Gemini and ninth bhava Leo. Jupiter is occupying the Cancer sign and this Moon was in square aspect from Jupiter. Moon is a significator for eighth, eleventh, second and fourth bhavas. Therefore she was lucky to have children, according to the rules laid in the infallible Krishnamurthi Paddhathi.

As a mother, her first child, a son was born by her second marriage, which lasted for four and half years, a longer period of married life, when compared to her other marriages. The birth date of the first son was 06th January 1953, when she was having the maha dasa of Saturn, Venus bukthi and Jupiter antara. Dasa lord Saturn was in the second bhava of the native and is the owner of the third bhava. This Saturn was deposited in a star of Sun, the owner of the ninth bhava deposited in the second bhava in conjunction with Mercury, owner of eighth and tenth bhavas. Therefore in Saturn dasa the native was destined to enjoy the results indicated by the star lord Sun, a significator for third, second and the ninth bhavas. The transiting Saturn was in square aspect to its natal position and in trine to natal Mars, a significator for second and fifth bhavas and the transiting Mars was in conjunction with its natal position and transiting Venus was in conjunction with natal Mars. Bukthi lord Venus was also transiting in Aquarius in the second bhava and in a star of Rahu who is a significator for the second bhava. A significator for second and eleventh bhavas. This Venus was in conjunction with natal Mars and 450 aspect to the natal position also in semi sextile aspect to natal Rahu, a significator for the second bhava. Antara lord Jupiter is a significator for second bhava and in a star of Mercury, who is a significator for second and fifth bhavas. This Jupiter was transiting in Aries on the fifth cusp and in square aspect to its natal position. Luminary Sun was in Sagittarius on the first bhava. Sun is a sigificator for the second in a star of Rahu, a significator for second. This Sun was in square aspect to Venus, significator for second and eleventh bhava and in a star of Rahu, significator for the second bhava.

In summing up all these transits in the birth chart of Elizabeth Taylor, we see that Saturn dasa was on during all these child births. The fourth daughter was also born in Saturn dasa, even though she was adopted in Mercury dasa. This is a tabulation of dasa and sub dasa periods on the birth dates of her children.

harlatans in Stellar Astrology consider it as anathema to use Signs and their properties in prognostication. However , the stalwarts in KP system of yesteryears like late N Mohan , who was the source of inspiration even for KP doyen like K M Subramoniam , never hesitated to use the signs whilst giving prediction. I would like to share with the esteemed readers , a case from my diary , to prove how the nature or quality of the signs excel, modify or even undo the results of the multiple stellar significators of a House .

This native, totally innocent for that matter, was booked in IPC 498(a) by her unscrupulous sister-in-law , a cunning lawyer to extort money and harass the latters husband and his parents . This happened somewhere in Aug-Sep 2009 . .
Fourth House, an important observation! Very often , it is repeatedly seen while examining Horoscopes, that when one runs the dasha or sub period of a planet signifying 4H, either the native himself or members of his extended family will get involved in some serious litigation. The rationale behind this is 4H is a partner of the Trigon {4,8,12}. 4H shares many attributes of 8H & 12H Involvement in a case , necessarily leads to shame of being standing in the witness box and answering all sort of ticklish questions by the lawyers , anxiety and extreme mental tension about the verdict or final outcome of the case , heavy expenditure involved in hiring a competent and capable lawyer . (All those mentioned above invariably are derivatives of 8H &12H that gets reflected in 4H too) Examination of the Dasha in currency The native is in Mercury Dasha that rules the 8H of litigation and 11H of success stationed in 3H . There are no planets in any of the three stars of Mercury . As such Mercury emerges as a strong significator of 3H , 8H & 11H . Obviously , due to strong linkage of the dashalord to VIII , litigation , surgery , accident etc could be expected in the dasha of Mercury . So no wonder , native was trapped and made an accused in a case . At that period , she was in Mercury/ Rahu . Rahu at birth was in first House in the star of Kethu in 7H but eighth sign. Since Kethu is a shadow planet that acts as a sponge , it will fully signify the eighth House , although by Placidus House division , it is in 7H . To sum up, the sub period ruler Rahu gets a signification of 8H of litigation . So the VIII signification of the dashalord Mercury acted in tandem with VIII signification of sub period ruler Rahu to cause a case in Rahu sub period . Nodes are for Trapping . Interestingly , when the litigation started in Aug-Sept 2009 , Transit Rahu was longitudinally very close to degrees of natal Ve, the ruler of 12H of cheating, trapping etc The question of the client who consulted in the beginning of 2010 was when will the case end ? The ensuing sub period of Jup was from 16Feb 2010 to 26 May 2012 . Jup is in the star of Mars , ruler of Ascendant (success) and sixth House (victory over opponent ) . Importantly , Jup is in the sub of Ven in II having no planets in its stars. And Ven is in the star of Sun in III . Normally such a stellar signification of the sub period ruler viz Asc, , II , III & VI should have given legal relief in Jup sub sub period of Jupiter dasha itself .

However , the scribe ruled out such a possibility . Reasons are ---Jup the sub period ruler is in Aquarius , a Fixed sign (No change in the current status of litigation ) ---Saturn that deposes for Jupiter is in Gemini , the 8H (Parashara Whole Sign ) of litigation . So litigation is unlikely to end in Jup sub period . Next comes Saturn sub period . Kindly take note that Saturn gets same stellar and sub lord signification as the Jup sub period . Still it was predicted , the case will be settled in favour of the native in Saturn sub period only , mostly in saturn sub sub period itself . Why ? ---Jupiter (Success) Trines Saturn ----Saturn is in a Dual sign (indicating things will move a bit in the sub period of Saturn ) ---On a subtle level , Saturns stellar signification of Asc (success) & VI ( victory over opponent ) coupled with the sublord signification of II (another favourable House ) should bring victory to the native . It may be noted that virtually nothing happened in Jups sub period and the case dragged on but very soon the Saturn sub period started on 23 May 2012 , the case was heard and the native was acquitted in mid-july 2012 , exactly as foretold nearly two-and-a half year back . Major planetary transits during 2013. - Rahu will enter Libra in December 2012/January 2013 will be with Saturn in the 6th house of independence chart. These two planets in the 6th house of independence chart is a period to watch for all sorts of negative events like riots, violence, explosion, people agitations, terror strikes, etc. The whole period of conjunction is to be closely watched, especially when the conjunction is within the orb of one degree. s per KP system to analyze any matter of life the approach is as follows; a) To determine cuspal promise of that event/matter through cuspal position and signification of Cuspal Sublord(CSL); i.e. to check whether that particular matter ( e.g. property purchase) is destined for the native or not. b) If it is promised then to find out the suitable time of fructification of event through DBAS combination of the fruitful significator planets for that event. c) Transit must agree in full, i.e. to check whether transiting DBAS lords and the luminaries ( Sun,Mon) are transiting favorably (i.e. in favorable sign, star, sub for the event) during the time of event fructification.
Now let us consider one real time example of one person, who had recently booked/purchased a flat for himself jointly with his mother. The birth details are as follows; DOB:- 17th June 1983; TOB:- 09.30 AM; POB:- Kolkata Some General observations from the chart:a) Strong( no planet in its stars and in friends house) & benefic( lord of 5 and a good friend to lagna lord SUN) JUP in 4th house is a indication of luxurious lavish own property/flats from a good reputed builder and source. The native in fact booked a flat from a very good Reputed brand of builders with good marketing partner. b) 4th Cusp falls in Scorpio a multi-legged sign, so the flat booked will be a multistory building. Actually the flat booked by the native was a G+6 proposed multistory building and the native booked the flat in 3rd floor. a) CUSPAL PROMISE CHECK For property related querries; 4th cusp is the prime cusp. And to invest in any property or to purchase a property(flat etc.) the required cuspal promise is the 4th CSL should be a significator of 4,9,11,12. 4= own house of the native;

Thats why he booked the property by paying 2.5% price of the property on 12th feb 2012. his is a most recent case. This case pertains to the query from one of my senior friend who telephoned me in the morning of Aug 20, 2012 with the query: Will my younger brother recover from the chronic disease he is suffering with? He gave me his birth details as 24-041950, 1500 hrs, 28N42, 76E08. Analysis Strategy (Important) Normally, the birth chart in conventional KP is delineated with respect to a related matter at hand by the analysis of relevant cusps and dasha-Bhukti planets in operation along with transits. I have advocated the usage of LSPs in KP domain to derive a second opinion parallel to the observations by the standard delineation. I have shown in all the charts published in JASA that not only that the LSPs offer the second opinion, but mostly they give very pointed and conclusive inferences. In this article, I have a birth chart of the native whose health issues are under consideration. The elder brother of the native had asked a question about his health and recovery issues for which a horary chart was erected. Now having both birth chart and horary chart ready at hand, there were a few options before me. o Ignore horary chart, assess birth chart and declare results o Ignore birth chart and assess horary chart and declare results o Consider both charts but how? The interactive approach I have adopted in considering both charts is as follows o Analyze Horary Chart and look at the desired matter at hand o Analyze Birth Chart for the issues by studying the relevant cuspal linkages along with the Dasha-Bhukti impact for the matter at hand. o Calculate the LSPs of the horary Chart and read their impact on natives life in Birth Chart for the matter under scrutiny. o Using LSPs of horary chart in Birth Chart If the horary chart is erected for a native for a matter at hand, then LSPs worked out on such a horary chart is directly useful in the natives birth chart. Readers may be amazed to note the similium and co-relation of LSPs calculated from birth chart and that of Horary Charts.

This is in direct similium to the usage of RPs. So far I had demonstrated in all the articles in JASA that the LSPs calculated by horary chart may be employed in horary findings. In this article, I have attempted to show how the LSPs of horary origin for a native can be utilized to supplement delineation in Birth Chart of the same native.
Readers may note that the LSPs of horary charts are so dynamic that they make the birth chart very dynamic in reading, which otherwise looks static most of the times. LSPs thus act as Kaleidoscope for the Birth Chart and highlight various shades of life with every divination attempt through horary and LSPs. I affirm to the astrological world to overlap the LSPs of horary chart on the Birth Chart for a native. The readers may expect miraculous results.

Co-ordinates of Judgment Lagna in query chart for disease represents the native and 6th house represents the disease. The star lord of the 6th cuspal sub-lord represents the body part where the disease infects. In case, if the 6th house has linkage with the 8th house the disease could be a chronic one and difficult to get cured. The linkage to the 12th house makes a case for hospitalization.5th and 11th cusps indicate the possibility of cure. If the 6th cuspal sub lord indicating disease links itself with the badhaka and maraca houses, the chances of cure seem difficult and the patient may succumb to the disease. It may be noted that the analysis of cusps of various houses along with the planetary significations represent the fixed promises of the chart but the results are dispensed by the suitable dasha-bhukti in consonance with the transits. Out of LSPs, there are a variety of LSPs that are of avail such as Punya LSP, Jeeva LSP, Jadya LSP, Santap LSP, Mrityu LSP and Apamrityu LSP. The Query The mental setup of the native is judged through Moon. In the prashna chart asked by the elder brother of the native, Moon was transiting in 12th house from his lagna and thus he was wavery in mind anticipating all possibilities (12H). Moon was transiting in the sub-sub of Jupiter that was examined in the birth chart. Jupiter is found to be placed in 7th house (maraka) eclipsed by Rahu placed in the sign of Jupiter. Thus, it was inferred that the matter was related to a serious health issue related to Jupiter and Rahu. Looking to the disposition of Moon, the horary chart seems to be genuine to proceed further. Analysis of Horary Chart 1. Lagna Lagna sub-lord is Mercury and Mercury is the sub-lord of 7-11th cusp as well. Note that Mercury is positionally strong and its placement in the badhaka house is noteworthy for obscurity. At the stellar level, Mercury falls in the star of Saturn in 11th house but its sub-lord Venus gets placed in 8th house. Thus, disease pattern seems to be difficult and obscure, which the native is

perhaps suffering from. Thus, Lagna connects to maraka (7 cusp through sub-lordship), badhaka and 8th house. This indicates alp-ayu from the time of horary delineation. This indicates that the native does not have much lease of life left out. 2. 8th cusp 8th cuspal sub-lord is Sun. Sun falls in the star of Ketu placed in 7th house (maraka), its sub-lord Sun is placed in 9th house (badhaka). Thus, the longevity does not have lease left out. Since, 8th house also deals with the chronic and incurable diseases, it is inferred that the native may succumb to such ailments. 3. 11th cusp 11th cuspal sub-lord is Mercury and as said above, Mercury points to fatality. 4. Dasha Sun-Saturn dasha is running till presently till 18 Sep 2012 and thereafter Mercury bhukti would start. Dasha lord Sun is not conducive to longevity, as observed in the analysis of 8th cusp above. Present bhukti lord Saturn does not possess positional strength but is exalted and placed in 11th house as 3-4th lord, giving slight relief. As 3rd lord, Saturn would prolong the natives will power to fight the disease. At the stellar level, Saturn falls in the star of Mars placed in 11th house, but its sub-lord Mercury is placed in badhaka house. Overall, Saturn bhukti may not end the longevity of the native. Next bhukti is Mercury that starts on 18-09-2012 onwards. As advised in pre-paras, Mercury is not conducive to longevity and the native may wind up his mortal coils during this time. 5. Introduction redicting sport events is very difficult , in KP Astrology there is a rule to predict for any competitions but not always it is good for specific sports events. In this period my interest is to search for good theories and make some test especially for football matches as here in Italy it is the most popular sport. I came in touch by Sir Nayan Mukhopadhayay theory that seamed logic to me so I decided to try it with some modifications in the Horary event chart taking place. What is the event chart? It is the exact time of the beginning of the event and the place of the event, it gave me very good results so I decided to publish it for the benefit of readers.

When a concerned sub lord in the query is in close conj by 3.33 to 5 degrees or in close aspect orb by 3.20 to 5 degree the predicted result will be opposite. n this piece we read about Rohini, which falls totally in Rishaba (meaning all of its four quarters fall within the boundaries of Rishaba) . Rohini is well known because it is associated with Krishna, who, Hindus consider an incarnation of Mahavishnu. Sri Krishna had both his Ascendant as well as Moon in Rohini star.Equanimity is the hallmark of the person born in Rohini. Krishnas life reveals it to us. As a child, Krishna was playful and naughty, whereas, as an adult maintained his poise amidst gloom and pain during Mahabharata battle. Lunar rhythm of waxing and waning is known to us. A mythical story explains this phenomenon. According to this myth, Moon married the 27 daughters of Daksha; among these several wives, he loved Rohini most, which, naturally infuriated the other wives of Moon. Moon earned the wrath of Daksha and was afflicted by tuberculosis. Moon worshipped Siva , who on being pleased with his devotion blessed him with immortality, but will wax and wane The transit of malefics such as Kuja and Shani over Rohini is referred as the Rohini sakata yoga (Rohini sakata beda). Rohini favours growth and prosperity in humans. When Rohini is afflicted by a malefic planet, famine, hunger, poverty and destruction will occur in the world. All cosmic events precurse terrestrial events because of the link between the macrocosm and microcosm. There is a popular hymn known as the Dasaratha Shani Stotram. I will explain how this hymn originated. Saturn makes one complete revolution of the zodiac every 30 years. This implies that Saturn transits Rohini star once every 30 years. When Saturn transits over Rohini, kingdoms and kings fall. During the reign of Dasaratha, Saturn was about to transit Rohini. To overcome the evil effects of Saturn, Dasaratha composed a hymn on Saturn, who being pleased with the hymn, did not harm any during his transit over Rohini. Recitation of Dasaratha Shani Stotram could offer relief from evils attributable to Saturn. This hymn finds a place in Brahmanda purana.Transit of Saturn over unfavorable houses or Rohini star is supposed to bring evil to even divine beings. It affects ordinary people, kings and and even animals, and brings about threats to cities, and similar edifices. Moon is exalted in Taurus.When occupying the second quarter of Rohini, Moon is not only exalted but also vargottama). A person born with sun in scorpio, in Rohini 2nd pda will have full moon besides the other benefits such as vargottama as well as exaltation. Thus the moon undergoes three fortifications undeniably the best in any chart. Moon is the only planet, which cannot occupy a debilitated navamsa, while in exaltation. The converse is also true. While in debilitation, it cannot occupy an exalted navamsa. Moon in Rohini can either occupy its own navamsa or the navamsas owned by Mars, Venus or Mercury.According to Brihatsamhita, a person born in the first quarter of Rohini will be wealthy, in the second quarter will be aggrieved, in the third will be stricken with fear, and in the fourth will be truthful. In Ayurveda, there is a belief that consuming ghee and honey, mixed in equal quantities would be toxic. Whereas honey and ghee, consumed separately are considered good their mixture is positively bad for health. Rohini falling on a Thursday is inauspicious ( Dagdha yoga), although Rohini and Thursday

are auspicious individually. Shasti falling on a Thursday in Rohini opportunes vinasa (annihilation) yoga. Students in Astrology need to bear in mind one key concept here. They should pronounce the cumulative effect of thithi, vra and nakshatra and not add up the effects individually and give the resultant effect. Rohini along with three Uttaras Uttaraphlguni, Uttarshada, and Uttarabhadrapda constitute the Dhruva quartet. These stars favour events such as (1) coronations (2) planting of trees (3) laying foundations for towns and (4) performing meritorious deeds Rohini is an urdvamukha naksatra, meaning it is an upward looking star. It is therefore suitable for construction of tall buildings. The 22nd nakshatra from ones birth star is a kshema nakshatra and hence should cause goodness; however it hovers under the blemish vainasika which should be avoided ; the rule can be overlooked when ones birth star is Rohini . Other stars for which this rule is overlooked are Pushya, Makha, Hasta, Chitra, Anuradha, Revati, Uttaraphalguni, Poorvabhadrapada, and Uttarabhadrapada. In ancient times grains used to be treated like money and people bartered grains for buying goods and/or as payment for services. When grains are bartered in an auspicious muhurtha, grains will flourish ensuring prosperity. When Rohini rules, grains should not be expended, but should be gathered and stored. For gathering and storing, Rohini is favourable. Rohini favours business transactions. Generally new clothes are worn on birthdays and on festive occasions. Apart from these special occasions, new clothes can be worn on a day ruled by Rohini star. The general rule is that a person begets all kind of wealth by wearing new apparels on Rohini day. Rohini is an auspicious star for fixing the main doorframe for a house. For minting new coins Rohini is suitable. Rohini is suitable for commencing the study of the following disciplines: mathematics, architecture (Shilpa Vidyarambha), performing arts (music or dance ;Sangeetharambha), logic (Tarka sastrarambha) According to books on muhurtha, rules prevail for cremation when a person dies in Dhanishta, Satabhisek, Poorvabhadrapada , Uttarabhadrapada or Revati. These stars are termed Dhanishta Panchami and the dead are taken out of the house through a different door, which will remain closed at least six months . Dhanishta Panchaka Shanthi would be performed at the conclusion of the six months. When a person is missed for a long time, the assumption is that the person is dead. In such instances as well as in instances where the body of the person is unavailable, a mock cremation of a body constructed with dharba is performed. This ritual is Dharba Samskaram . On such occasions, Rohini is considered useful. Since the occasion is undesirable, the appropriate time is to be chosen so the event is not repeated Avoid Tripushkara yoga for such rituals, since anything done in that yoga would get repeated. Activities such as grooming of hair, trimming of beard, cutting of nails are to be avoided during Rohini. For grihapravesa Rohini is ideal, especially for an eastfacing house. New jewellery can be worn in Rohini. A disease commencing in Rohini is curable in 21 days . Rohini is an auspicious for getting initiated into learning a mantra or a hymn and for the study of Vedas. It is also a good star for travel and for returning home after a journey. Rohini is a good star for digging wells.

It is very clear (Ref Table 4 above) that 3 CSL is afflicted in 54 out of 60 cases studied (90 %). Conclusion: The Hypothesis Affliction of 3 CSL causes Deafness has passed acceptance criteria. Note: Affliction to 3 CSL is caused by three malefic planets viz. Saturn, Mars and Rahu. For sake of academic interest, the results were further scrutinized to know which planets malefic effect is more prone to cause deafness. Result of this micro-analysis is tabulated in Table 5. Conclusion: The Hypothesis 3 CSL to signify houses 6, 8 or 12 passes acceptance criteria of 75%. Notes: 3 CSL signifying house 6 (disease) in 60 percent cases means deafness is more a disease than a defect (House 8). Further its signification of 12th house (48.33 %) implies that deafness appears to be non-reversible. Observation No. 5 Regarding affliction to signs Gemini/Virgo (Signs owned by Mercury as the Karaka) This affliction is studied at two different levels. (1) Affliction to signs Gemini/Virgo by Saturn/Mars/Rahu as usual and (2) Affliction to signs Gemini/Virgo caused by lordship of 6th, 8th or 12th cusps. The results of detail case wise study are available in Table 4. However summary in a concise form for affliction mentioned in (1) can be found in Table 7 below and for affliction mentioned in (2) can be found in Table 8 below. Observation No. 6 Regarding sensitive sub divisions in Gemini as mentioned on Page 95 of Medical Astrology for All Following sub divisions are said to tell us about ear troubles or deafness. (These are marked as a, b, c and d below. Under such circumstances it is decided to check whether any of these sensitive sub divisions appear on the cusps of 3rd, 6th, 8th and 12th house. Results are given in Table 9. Percentage works out to 38.33 % ( irrespective of the sub divisions mentioned above) Total No. of cases where sensitive sub divisions appear on these cusps are 6 out of 60 i.e. 10 % Conclusion: The hypothesis regarding sensitive sub divisions does not fulfill acceptance criteria. Finally after thorough scrutiny of available hypothesis, those which have fulfilled acceptance criteria and thus can be accepted as RULES for Deafness (which should be fulfilled simultaneously) are listed below:

Sub lord of THIRD cusp should be Saturn, Rahu or Mercury (being chief Karaka for Deafness and speech) and should be afflicted by malefic planets. 3 CSLs connection to Mercury is not that important. 2. I have gone through different articles on prasana,nadi and other prevailing systems in steller astrology publish in JASA, The Contributors are of high repute and knowledgeable but while analysing the horoscopes or prasana they are propounding their self-made theories and manipulations in several ways like different ayanamsa, houses to interpret so on and so forth which makes the reader more confusing and articles loses the validity and interest. Honestly, they are well-learned and highly respectable in astrologer community. I believe, but NO one can predict correctly everything all the times. It would have been more interesting if they would give charts where they have gone wrong and asked others to work on it. I congratulate you for working hard in spreading real work on astrology. I may have a suggestion: 1. provide real situation data on horary and natal with questions to members so that research can be initiated on that to find better and more accurate way in predictions- there will be more interaction in astrologer community due to different theories and it will interesting to everyone. From the book Nadi astrology (Accurate predictive methodology) n recent articles I have publish in Jasa Journal an advance rule for longevity with mathematical method, for that method I got inspiration from a Nadi astrology book written by Umange Taneja . Well I decided to introduce this wonderful method and write about it for the benefit of readers and Astrologers. It differs from KP Astrology and with the explanations of the rules , readers will see the difference especially in the part-2 of this article. INTRODUCTION Basic Rules from the book 1): Ayanamsa The ayanamsa for casting the horoscope used are Lahiri or Kp. 2): Chart Two charts must be prepared , the Nirayana bhava chalit and the Lagna chart with no cusps this can be calculated easily by any stella astrology software . 3): Aspects & conjunctions Aspects & conjunctions of all the planets are to be seen from sign to sign from the Lagna chart. There is a difference in the case of Rahu & Ketu. They give influence on the planets in the next sign which are up to 7 apart. 4) Positions & lordships of the planets Are to be seen in the Nirayana bhav chalit chart. 5): According to Nadi Astrology a planet in a Horoscope is under the influence of: 1): Its position and the lordship of houses in the horoscope. 2): its Nakshatra 3): Its Sub lord. 6): The Dasha used is the Vimssottari dasha. According to Nadi astrology Mahadasa lord is stronger than Bhukti lord and Bhukti lord is stronger than Antara lord. 7): Single house does not give any result. For example say the 12th house then 12th house signifies a number of events. 8): Strength of a planet

A): Strength of a planet is delineated by the strength of its planet, Nakshatra and Sub lord. If Sub lord signifies full combination of the event and also in the Nakshatra and Planet the event is going to happen surely. So the Planet is very strong. B): If Sub lord signifies the full combination of culmination of an event and Nakshatra and the Planet negate the event becomes nearly impossible to happen. C): If the Nakshatra and planet signify the full combination but the Sub lord negates ,the event can happen. The planet is rendered very weak. D): If Planet and the Nakshatra does not negate an event and support the Sub lord and Sub lord signifies full combinations the planet is strong to fructify the event. E): In some cases the Planet , Nakshatra and Sub lord could signify facilitator houses/ combinations in such a case the planet will have to look on others DBA planets. If other DBA will be strong then the event will take place otherwise not. F): If Planet and Nakshatra show the combination of the event and Sub lord signify facilitator houses the planet has full strength for culmination of the event in DBA. This is how to judge the strength of the planets. Cusps Starting degree of the house is called the cusp or the cuspal degree of the house. The sub lord at the cuspal degree is called the Cuspal sub lord . The strength of the house is drawn from the strength of the cuspal sub lord. If the cuspal sub lord signifies the combinations connected with the house the house is strong. If it negates the event the event will not take place even in the Dasha- Bhukti-Antara promising the event strongly. Results of Planets There is a professional software Horosoft and also the free KP Starone that gives the results otherwise you must pen down the following: 1) : The lordship & the position of all the planets included Uranus, Neptune & Pluto.. 2): The nakshatra & the sub lords of all the planets. Timing of an event Dasha lord is stronger than Bhukti lord and Bhukti lord is stronger than Antara lord. If Dasha lord allows an event the event will take place in that dasha. To further pin point the event we will see the strong Bhukti lord which signifies the same combination. The event will take place in that Bhukti, however if Dasha lord is very strong the event can also happen in its Bhukti . The next step is to find or choose a strong Antara which will time the event. If the Dasha lord does not allow the event, in such case go to the next Dasha which allows the event . Similarly if Bhukti is not allowing the event, the next Bhukti is to be seen. Transits of Planets Transits of the Planets are to be seen to pin point the events precisely. First see the transits of any slower moving planet ( Saturn, Jubiter, Rahu & Ketu). They should transit the relevant houses which signify the combinations of a specific event. Then go on to see the transits of fast moving Planets ( Sun. Mercury, Venus & Mars). When they join the slower Planets, the event take place. Any of the three Planets which signify combination for event may/ may not be from the DBA should Either conjoin in one house Or aspect each other Or transit the significator houses Or aspect them Or transit over their natal positions To see also the transit of the antara lord in the Nakshatra signifying the combination for any event.

Many astrologers know me as pioneer or promoter of Four Step Theory which was promoted about 20 years before. I was practicing Vedic astrologer even before that. I am also an Editor and publisher of bi-annual K P periodical Nakshatrache Dene since 1993 as a mark of respect to my Guru Late Jyotindra Hasabe. Many astrologers from India, particularly from Maharashtra, are using Four Step Theory for their astrological predictions. This is because of improvement in accuracy and timing of events achieved as a result of using this Theory. During past four or five years it was observed that some unscrupulous astrologer(s) are not happy with the niche created by this theory. So they started criticizing it every possible way. One of them even published an article Study Notes on Four Step Theory in one of the E-magazine with his own interpretations which are not correct according to me. I welcome any healthy criticism, but this was not so. I neglected it because I was sure that my theory will survive all such malicious attacks. But of late, same person has up loaded a file in a internet group about Hindu aspects with orb. Nowhere in complete K.P. Literature has this term been used simply because such term never existed. However he insists that Four Step Theory uses Hindu aspect with orbs which is not a fact. If his same logic is extended to western aspects, one can say western aspects are in fact Hindu aspects with orb. This is simply misguiding. However this is not my main objection. Quote //Here is Late Shri Raichur, the first KP SW developer, co-author of the UTOH, translator, writer and promoter of the Four-Step Theory at elder age like Shri Ramani is doing now for the Baskaran Astrology (KB) - - -// Unquote Here this unscrupulous person has clearly mentioned that Late Shri Raichur is promoter of Four Step Theory. Now let us see what Shri A. R. Raichur has said about Four Step Theory In his article on Four Step Theory published in an online magazine in Feb 2007 issue Shri Raichur writes . Quote In Maharastra , Mr. Husbe, and later Mr. S.G.Gondhalekar of Thana , carried out research and have propounded what is called the 4 Step Theory, as 4 steps are involved in finding the houses signified by the planets. Shri Gondhalekar is running a monthly magazine,.. Unquote Incidentally and unfortunately this unscrupulous person is Advisor of same magazine where this article of Shri Raichur has been published. If not objected now, this gentleman(?) may claim in future that he is promoter of Four Step Theorythough in fact he acts like one even now. Astrological fraternity is wise enough not to fall prey to such misleading statements/misguidance. Also please note that any clarification and/or interpretation of rules from the promoter (at least till he is alive) should be considered more authentic than given by any other person. This is my humble request.

1. Authors/Contributorcansendunpublishedandunsubmittedmanuscriptsbasedonanysystems of stellar astrology such as KP, MST, TSP, 4 Step Theory, Cuspal Interlinks, Nadi or any other stellarsystem. 2. Manuscript should be minimum 3000 words and maximum 15000 words. Lengthy manuscripts willbepublishedinparts. 3. All manuscripts should be in Times New Roman font with size 12, single line spacing, and justified margin with 1 inch on all sides in Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007 file format ONLY. Sections and subsections should contain separate heading in bold. Charts provided and discussedmustbeinBOTHNorthandSouthIndianstyles. 4. Authors/Contributors SHOULD NOT use any harsh language/derogatory comment/demeaning phrasesagainstanyperson/system/method/association/groupetc. 5. Authors/Contributors CAN USE ANY Ayanamsa, astrological computer software and birth data of persons. However, any liability arising out of such usage will be borne by the respective author/contributor. 6. References used, if any, in the manuscript must be mentioned at the end of the manuscript separately. 7. Names of planets should be written in their full form. If any acronym is used, it should be first explainedandthenusedthroughoutthearticle.Eg:TheDBA(Dasa,Bhukti,Anthra)isof.. 8. Allspelling,grammarandsyntaxshouldbeproperlycheckedbeforesubmittinganarticle. 9. All articles must accompany a JPEG passport size photo of the author/contributor along with theemailandabriefbiodataoftheauthor/contributorwithin100words. 10. Editorial letters addressed to the Editor must be titled Billet Doux for automatic publication. Care should be taken by senders to ensure that no harsh words/statements/derogatory remarksareincludedintheirletters/emailsforpublication. 11. Though there are no Reviewers or Advisory Board for JASA,preference for articles will be given to such contributions which have good English, are clear to understand and have minimum Englishlanguagemistakes. 12.
