Today from 3:30-5 we have our 2nd Annual Santa Swim! "We'll meet at the Aragakis' and take a lap or two around their pool. "Be sure to bring swim wear and a towel and stick around for s'mores afterwards.! Wednesday, November 27, for those students who have a half day or a full day off we'll be having lunch at the Village Inn (at Scottsdale Rd. and Frank Lloyd Wright) and going to see Hunger Games: Catching Fire later in the afternoon. (If you have school that day, come join us for the movie after.) "We will leave the Church at noon to drive over for lunch and from lunch we will drive to the theater. RSVP to Katy for lunch and/or the movie.!

Saturday, November 30, Luminaria assembly! "We'll meet at 9:00 a.m. outside of the Forum and put together as many luminaria as possible until about noon. Breakfast munchies will be provided. "FYIthis time counts as community service. "And, we may need another morning to put together more luminaria. "If that is the case, we'll plan on Saturday, Dec. 7, for our back-up date. The same details will apply then as well.! And, last but not least, the last Friday Night Lights of the school year (December 6th) will be held at the Academy of Scuba.

Tuesday, December 3, 6:30 p.m. in The Commons Come join the women of Chaparral for an evening of delicious food (soup is Sharon Hostetler Ministry Director, provided as a light dinner) and fun Women, Hospitality entertainment (provided by Chaparrals Teen Girl Ensemble). Bring a snack, savory or sweet, to share. Donations to the Suitcase Initiative (providing necessities to children who have aged out of the foster care system) are requested, including: toiletries, linens, small first aid kits, socks, personal grooming items (combs, nail clippers, razors, etc.).
