Performance Test Procedure-Turbine Efficiency

1. PURPOSE This procedure covers the recommended thermal performance testing requirements of the Steam Power Plant units installed located in PLTU Molotabu,Gorontalo, Indonesia. It is limited to thermal performance testing only

2.

OBJECTIVE Through this procedure, the Steam Power Plants actual thermal performance is compared to guarantee values. The guarantee parameters are: Turbine Heat Rate

3. SCOPE This procedure applies to condensing turbine, regenerative cycle, with superheated steam inlet.

4. APPLICABLE STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES This procedure takes precedence over the following reference documents: ASME PTC 6 ASME PTC 19.1

5. METHODS FOR DETERMINING TURBINE HEAT RATE The unit should be maintained at 100% load stable operation at least two hour before performance test. All measurement will be taken on 15 minutes interval for two hour run. 6. INSTRUMENTS AND STABILITY OF TEST CONDITIONS The instruments and data shall be observed as a minimum during the test. Additionally, variations between observations shall not vary from the reported average for that operating condition during the complete run.

7. OPERATING PROCEDURE All equipment shall be operated for the least two (2) hours at base load to establish steady state conditions prior to the first reading. Main steam pressure shall be set to certain pressure. The turbine cycle is isolated in accordance with ASME PTC-6S. A one-half-hour minimum stabilization time should be allowed. Every effort shall be made to run the tests under the specified conditions of fuel type, flows, pressures and temperatures as close to the specified conditions as possible in order Rev. 0 Hal 5 dari 6

to minimize the application of corrections to the test results and to minimize the magnitude of the correction.

8. TEST UNCERTAINTY AND EVALUATION OF RESULTS Individual measurement uncertainties and resulting overall test uncertainty with regard to determination of main steam flow shall follow the philosophy outlined in PTC 19.1.

9. TEST REPORT PT TLG shall designate and make available representatives to witness the Boiler Performance Test. The actual testing shall be performed by PT TLG.
