Beasiswa CAYSS Chung-Ang University Chung-Ang University Young Scientist Scholarship (CAYSS) merupakan program beasiswa khusus untuk program-program pasca sarjana (S2, S3, S2-S3 integrated) di Chung-Ang University (CAU). Program ini dibuka mulai musim gugur tahun 2010 sampai sekarang (setiap semester). Saat ini, program CAYSS hanya dikhususkan bidang Sains (seperti Food Science, Plant Science, Animal Science, Farmasi, Food Nutrition, IT, Teknik, dll). Apa saja yang didapat dari CAYSS? Bebas uang pendaftaran (sekitar 1,000,000 won) Bebas SPP selama menempuh mata kuliah (mengambil kelas). SPP saat ini sekitar 6,000,000 won per semester. Uang saku minimal 500,000 per bulan.

Syarat-syaratnya? Bukan warga negara Korea, termasuk kedua orang tuanya. Lulus S1 untuk yang mau apply program S2 atau S2-S3 integrated, lulus S2 untuk yang mau apply program S3. Mendapat persetujuan dari calon Profesor di CAU (lebih jelasnya lihat Cara Apply) Bisa menjaga IP dan IPK di atas 3,00 setiap semester.

Cara Apply 1. Mencari calon professor yang akan dijadikan pembimbing selama studi berlangsung. Pelajari dulu profil professor dan laboratoriumnya sebelum menghubunginya. Nama professor dan profil singkat bias dilihat di Lampiran 1. 2. Kontak calon professor lewat email. Jangan lupa tulis CAYSS program serta jelaskan selengkap mungkin latar belakang akademik anda dan pembimbing (di Indonesia) saat ini. 3. Mengisi formulir pendaftaran CAYSS program (formulir di Lampiran 2), beserta dokumen lainnya.

Untuk program S2: - kopi sertifikat S1 dan transkrip (atau surat keterangan akan lulus). - sertifikat bahasa Inggris atau Korea (kalau ada) - sertifikat lain yang mendukung (kalau ada) - kopi akte kelahiran - kopi KTP orang tua - study plan - keterangan financial minimal 4,000 dolar - kopi paspor - surat keterangan dari universitas pelamar Untuk program S3, sama dengan syarat di atas, ditambah: - surat rekomendasi dari supervisor saat ini - kopi publikasi
