Town Board Moments 1.Citizen Concerns a. None noted


2. Communications: a. It was noted that it was time for the Court books to be audited by the board members. Mr. Booth and Ms. Farr will be meeting with the court clerk for that. b. Received a notification from Mohawk Valley Comm. College concerning snow plow driving class for highway workers. C. Mr. Shaw received letter explaining the current lease that is being drawn up between the Town and Library. D. Town Lawyer wrote asking for more info to complete the subdivision of the new cemetery. E. No violations were noted on recent inspection for the transfer site. 3. The new storm doors for the Town offices are currently being installed by the town workers. Mr. Hall will be having his workers install a new shut off at the Fuel tanks at the Town Barn.
4. The board that the cemetery lots will be ready to be sold once the deed work is completed on the cemetery. 5. The Town will be putting up for bid in the spring the work needed to repair the Town Hall main entrance stoop and some brick work.

Next Town Board meeting will be on Dec.9th, 2013 @ Town Hall @ 7PM. ************************ Village Board Moments 1.Citizen Concerns none noted. 2. DPW Report Suppt. Pitts was present with nothing significant to report. 3. SEWER Report The project is currently on schedule. 4.It was motioned and carried that Mr. Brandon Geer reapply for sponsorship to the Police Academy once he has completed phase 1 of the academy.
5. A motion was made and carried to purchase Officer Sheen a bullet proof vest with him given the opportunity to purchase the vest at a cost at the cost in the event he leaves the village employment.

Church NewsDec. 22nd. - 3rd Annual Childrens Christmas Pageant will be at the Antwerp United Methodist Church @ 7 pm for the community at large or you may see it at the 10 am service on 22nd. We welcome any child to be a part of this. Memory Doves Come place an In Memory Dove on the Christmas Tree in the front window of Robbins Hardware for a $1each. The money will go to the First Congregational Church for the Food Pantry. {Help remember our past loved ones and help those that need your help now.} POC is Sharon Ives 659-8932 & Barbara Hilligas 642-5625

Whats Up in Antwerp
Dec. 7th Christmas Ham dinner and Tree Lighting Ceremony. {Town Hall} Dinner @ 5PM . (Donations will be accepted @ Town Hall, but not required.) Tree Lighting @ 6PM in front of Library. Santa, caroling, hot chocolate and cookies at the Town Hall after the tree lighting. Sponsored by the Village of Antwerp Recreation. Bring your camera for those Kodak moments with Santa and friends. Come share some Holiday memories with your community and remember those special Christmas songs. Breakfast with Santa that the ORA/Old Home Day committees and the Fire Department are holding Dec.15th @ Fire Hall. 8AM11AM. Menu includes all kinds of eggs, French toast, pancakes and all the sides. Adults $6, Seniors $5. Children 5yr and under $3. There will be raffles and activities for the children to do and of course we are singing Christmas carols with Santa. Bring Your Camera!!

Crosby Public Library Do you have an old Kindle that you dont use anymore?? Would you like to donate it to the Crosby Public Library? If you update your e-reader soon, please think of donating your old one to the library. Town Clerk Office It will be Closed Dec.25, 26, 27th, then closed Dec. 30th, 31st, and Jan 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The office will reopen on Jan. 6th.

++++++++++++++++++ Antwerp Food Pantry is now open on all Mondays from 5-7PM. Thank you to all that assisted with the Haunted House. It was a huge success.
