Welcome to SOUNDIRON's Kazoo library. This library was created with the help of a world class kazoo ensemble, featuring some of the nest hand-crafted wax-paper and plastic wind instruments that money can buy. We gathered together four of the nest kazoo virtuosos in the world to capture this power-ensemble collection. We recorded this brilliant sample set in our own private studios. This library includes features such as delicate automation control, 4-times round robin on all sustains and 4-times round robin on all release triggers, advanced programming and playability and special custom instruments that feature our life-like hall acoustic simulation technology. All in all, we feel this is the most powerful professional-grade kazoo ensemble library available anywhere in the world. *Note - This library was originally released by Tonehammer, Inc. as Kazoo.

INSTALLATION
We Use Winrar (version 3.80 or later) or other compatible program to un-compress the SOUNDIRON_Kazoo.rar le into its own folder in your sample library directory. Make sure to preserve the included folder structure. This is usually done by selecting the extract to'... option in Winrar or UnrarX. Heres a link to winrar for PC: http://www.win-rar.com/download.html Heres a link to UnRarX for OSX: http://www.unrarx.com/ You should now be able to open and play the .nki les. Be aware that all of our .nki les are compatible with full retail versions of Kontakt 3.5 or higher only. Note: The Free Kontakt Player and any bundled Kontakt Players that come included with other software, hardware or built into other sample libraries won't be able to load this library.You may be able to run the library for a 30 minute demo period, but the full retail version of Kontakt is required for full use. However, since our wave directories are open, you can translate the patches into whatever format you like. There are a few conversion utilities available that can make the translation process much easier.

Programming Notes:
Solo Kazoos:
We recorded each and every semitone from G#2 D4, with three independent levels of expression, from steady, to vibrato and all the way up to full tremolo. Each note is continuously looping, with an average loop length of over ten seconds. All notes feature release-triggered samples. kazoo_solo_mw-exp.nki! This primary solo patch allows you to cross-fade between the 3 emotional intensity levels by using the mod-wheel (CC1), while note velocity controls the overall dynamic response. kazoo_solo_mw-exp_wet.nki This version of the above patch includes one of our custom reverb convolutions. kazoo_solo_key-switch.nki! This version of the patch allows you to switch between the articulations, using key-switches at C0, D0 and E0. kazoo_solo_legato_mw-exp.nki! This version of the patch uses Kontakt scripting to intelligently control legato note transitions, allowing for expressive and natural solo kazoo playing. The modwheel controls intensity Xfading.

kazoo_manly_duet_mw-exp_epic.nki This version of the above patch includes one of our custom epic hall everb convolutions, for even more power and glory. manly_solo_voice_gramophone.nki This special version of the male vocal patch captures the old -time sound of a scratched-up gramophone record. Curl up by the re and have a listen to those sweet, smooth vocal melodies from years gone by.

Ensemble Kazoos:
kazoo_ensemble_legato_epic.nki! This patch is the shear essence of power. Legato scripting for commanding leads and driving melody lines, with tight programming to allow a strident, condent and virtuosic playing style. This instrument uses our own custom epic hall reverb convolution to elevate the sound to the most brilliantly soaring heights. This state-of-the-art convolution technology uses live impulse response signatures, which were captured with expert precision and care by our own in-house engineering team, in one of the nest recording halls in all the world. kazoo_ensemble_legato_soulful.nki! This version is meant to be played slower and more loosely. This truly is a deeply emotional instrument. 4X round-robin and modwheel controlled swelling and vibrato. It uses a basic legato script to allow monophonic solo playing. kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade.nki For brilliant choral elements, this patch allows custom modwheel cross-fading of up to 4 expressive dynamic layers, from piano to forte. This instrument is presented semi-dry, captured naturally in a wood and masonry recording room. ! kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade_tight.nki! A tighter, more cohesive performance, for more articulate playing styles. kazoo_ensemble_mw_x-fade_epic.nki! The grand-master of power, this instrument dominates where others fear to tread. LICENSE AGREEMENT By installing the product you accept the following product license agreement: LICENSE GRANT The license for this product is granted only to a single user. All sounds and samples in this product are licensed, but not sold, to you by Soundiron, LLC. for commercial and non-commercial use in music, sound-effect, audio/video post-production, performance, broadcast or similar nished contentcreation and production use. Soundiron allows you to use any of the sounds and samples in the library(s) you've purchased for commercial recordings without paying any additional license fees or providing source attribution to Soundiron, LLC. This license expressly forbids any unauthorized inclusion of content contained within this library, or any any Soundiron library, into any other sample instrument or library of any kind, without our express written consent. This license also forbids any re-distribution method of this product, or its sounds, through any means, including but not limited to, re-sampling, mixing, processing, isolating, or embedding into software or hardware of any kind, for the purpose of rerecording or reproduction as part of any free or commercial library of musical and/or sound effect samples and/or articulations, or any form of musical sample or sound effect sample playback system or device. Licenses cannot be transferred to another entity, without written consent of Soundiron, Inc. RIGHTS Soundiron retains full copyright privileges and complete ownership of all recorded sounds, instrument programming, documentation and musical performances included in this product. REFUNDS Downloaded libraries can't be returned, so we can't provide refunds. We may choose do so at our own discretion,but please be aware that as soon as you've downloaded it, you can't return it. RESPONSIBILITY Using this product and any supplied software is at the licensees own risk. Soundiron holds no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss arising from any form of use of this product. TERMS This license agreement is effective from the moment the product is installed by any means. The license will remain in full effect until termination.
