YOU ARE SEEDED FOR GREATNESS

(Isaiah 60:15; Jeremiah 30:17-22)

The truth of the matter is that there is a prophecy about your life that the enemy is afraid
of. You are not born again to suffer again; but because your star has been announced in
the realm of the spirit, your enemy is uncomfortable. Remember King Herod and the
three wise men in the case of Jesus!

Let me show you a scriptural proof of what I mean with my statement: Read Jeremiah
31:11-13.

Destiny is invisible; but greatness can be perceived by spiritual men and woman (Luke
2:21-32)

Most of the things that has been happening to you since the journey of your life may have
raised a concern in your heart, but it could be traceable to the seed of greatness hidden in
your innermost being.

Facts about the seed of greatness

1. Jealousy is a proof that there is something the enemy has discovered in your life that
you may not be aware of- the seed of greatness (The case of Jesus and King Herod).
2. The seed of greatness attracts persecution (David and King Saul).
3. The seed of greatness generates a satanic motivation of hatred from people around you
(Joseph and his brethren).
4. The seed of greatness commands the attention of critics (Sanballat and Tobiah)
(Nehemiah 4:1-3).

Note:
Two things motivate criticism around you:
1. The fear of your possible success; because your success will reveal the failure and
weakness of your contemporaries.
2. Hatred for the fact that your rivals can’t discover your secrets.

5. The seed of greatness is the reason why the enemy will fight to hinder your access to
finance; because he just that if money enters your hand, the speed at which you will fly
will be amazing.

Note
Pray against this attack in your life because it will tend to delay your destiny from
manifesting.

Moreover, sometimes, the enemy could be used unknown to him indirectly by God to
stop you from muddling the waters, when you prove to be faster than your shadow. So, he
can be used to slow you down to enable God bring your life to a beautiful end phase by
phase or seasonally (Ecclesiastes 3:11a).

6. The manifestos of your greatness has been divinely programmed to be fulfilled phase
by phase.

Note
This is where many people miss it. They fall into the temptation of worry and depression
they feel that their greatness seemed to be delayed (Ecclesiastes 8:5-7). When God
reveals your greatness to you, the tendency to hurry could set in if you are not careful to
follow Him behind.

Points to remember

1. Your greatness will require a season of preparation (Luke 1:80; Deuteronomy 32:9-13;
Galatians 4:1-4; 2 Chronicles 27:6).
2. Your greatness may experience a season of isolation from people in order to help you
concentrate on building the muscles of your potentials. Remember Jephtah (Judges 11:1-
33), Jacob in Laban’s house, and Joseph in Portifer’s house.
3. Your greatness will experience a season of non-identification (a grave yard
experience). You want to be known, but yet no one seems to be interested in you. This is
because you are doing the right thing at the wrong time. Learn to be patient!

Note
• Patience is a proof that you understand the benefits of your present time (by
Dr. Mike Murdock).
• Time will help to reveal your true friends and your potential enemy and the
reason why they fight you.
• Time will help you to discover your major areas of latent weaknesses and
strength.
• Life will so beautiful if you understand program of God for your life.
Remember the children of Issachar (1 chronicle 12:32).

Overcoming the enemy called worry

Happy is the man that God has revealed the phases of his life to (Ecclesiastes 8:1).

We are considering two points here:

1. What worry does (Proverbs 15:13; 17:22; 14:30; Hebrews 12:15).
a. It destroys the cells of your spiritual momentum that has built up over a
time.
b. It is a revelation of the enemy’s distraction in your life.
c. It disarranges your psyche.
d. It creates bitterness in your life.
e. It tends to destroy the energy of your soul- joy (Joel 1:12; Nehemiah
8:10b).

2. How to overcome worry:

a. Discover the vehicle of your greatness- Purpose (The reason for living).

When purpose is discovered, the need for preparation will be highlighted. This is where
patience will accepted as a necessity (Luke 21:19).

b. Don’t forget you could be in your season of preparation.

c. Learn to praise God from your heart (Habakkuk 3:17-19; Psalm 67:5-7).
d. Know that every change is a product of divine timing for it (Job 14:14).
e. Trust that the Lord to will fulfill His word in your life as revealed to you
(Psalm 21:1-7).
f. Establish the law of personal devotion. It was the custom our Lord Jesus.
(Isaiah 40:28-31; Mark 1:35; Luke 4:42).

Note
Devotion means praying and studying God’s word in private.

The benefits of personal devotion

1. Devotion reveals your potential loopholes you must try to cover in time
preparation.
2. Devotion uncovers the reason why things are happening the way they are at
present.
3. Devotion strengthens you with divine ideas and wisdom (Ecclesiastes 10:10; 7:11,
12; Proverbs 4:7).

Divine wisdom is mostly released to you in the place of devotion (Psalm 27:13, 14; 73:1-
3, 16-19).
