Dear Friends, TOward 2020. How encouraging it is that, as of Pledge Sunday, $2.8 million has been pledged for the Toward 2020 Capital Campaign. Thank you to the over 225 family units that have committed to help update and upgrade the Eastminster campus. If you have not yet pledged, please do. By all joining together to address these needs, we will hit and exceed our $3 million goal. Pledge card are available from the church office and in the Friendship Pads. You can also email your commitment to treasurer Christy Rippy at crippy@eastmintserpres.org. By way of brief reminder, this project includes sanctuary work encompassing: new heating and air, new electrical wiring, a reconfigured chancel, new pew cushions and choir robes as well as the addition of a mens restroom, a port-cochere and an elevator. Thompson Hall will be improved, a new bus will be purchased and signage will be upgraded. If you have any questions about the Toward 2020 Campaign, please feel free to contact any of our Co-Chairs: Bill and Marit Bobo (788-8178), Steve and Sharon Bryant (738-8289), or Robert and Carol Hill (787-2811). Eastminster EVOtiOns. To encourage you in Christ even as you are coming and going this summer, a daily devotional will be emailed to interested members. The Evotions will include a very brief scripture reading and a short devotion. These will be sent to all email addresses, but will include an not right now button that can be clicked. For more details contact Mark Durrett at mdurrett@eastminsterpres.org. BradleY LUnch BUddies. Our first group of Bradley Lunch Buddies is graduating from Elementary School! If you would be open to considering sharing a lunch hour once every two weeks during the school year, please contact Eastminster member John McArthur (jmcarthur@hsblawfirm.com) or staff person, Doretha Evans (devans@eastminsterpres.org). See you Sunday, Brad
