Q2. If you were Mr. Moore, what suggestions would you provide to improve the various sub-processes?

The various processes at Credit Department, Production, Distribution and invoicing need improvement. The improvements are I. Customer Service: Remove manual order management by the manager and develop a module in IT system to manage the orders automatically. Lower the number of delivery points per customer to manage delivery efficiently.

II. Credit Department Decrease manpower by removing employee performing redundant task. Remove the Credit clerk from the system and assign this work to McMaster. Lots of error check is done in this department. Lower the number of error check at reissuance of invoices and have a single decision making point for all errors. It will save time and hence quicker delivery to customers.

III. Distribution & Shipping Team supervisor can cancel the order in case of item not available, end the process and directly inform the customer via email Remove the warehouse clerk and ask the distribution partner to send the load tenders through emails & Excel sheets both together, thus minimizing error

IV. Invoicing Remove the invoice payment & credit application task performed by Invoice Clerk Make the process simple by removing checks at different point and having a single point for processing and decision making for all kind of possible scenario.
