China Mobile
Business Description 32 remote t stations t ti are located l t d at t the th provincial i i ll level l network t k management t centers of China Mobile, and each remote station is equipped with 10 telephones, and the headquarters is connected to the central station via groundto ground transmission; to-ground About 1500 stations and as well as 32 stations providing IP phone service; The remote station is transmitting the base station businesses, equipped with the abis optimizing devices The data transfer rate for each remote station is 2Mbps q pp with 10 telephones, p , and the network Each VoIP remote terminal is equipped management information of the satellite remote terminal shall be conveyed realtime; The center station has the 1: 1 or N: 1 auto backup functionality, which provides high reliability for the satellite network system. 2009, China Mobile occupied about more than 900MHz C and Ku band Transponders. Transponders

China Mobile
System Design
The remote station device is connected to the GSM base station (BTS) via the abis optimizing device, , and is connected to the central station via the satellite. The central station changes g it into E1 signal by the abis optimizing device, and the long-distance transmission circuits is used to connect the signal to the affiliated BSC of the base station.

Case: China Mobile

Link Switch Mode
When the ground transmission link is disrupted, the BTS base station can automatically switches, and the system actively y reports the related alarms through the administrative interface in the Abis device. After the integrated network management system receives the warning information of the Abis optimizing device in the remote station, if the services like voicemail passes the remote station, the remote station i will ill apply l for f the h resources to the center station according to the service type, and then the normal transmission of the BSC b i business information i f ti from f BTC based on the satellite link;

Case: China Mobile

VoIP Priority Design The VoIP service has 23 on-line remote stations in C-band with 2-MHz forwarder bandwidth reserved, and 9 remote stations on-line simultaneously with 2-MHz forwarder bandwidth reserved; The VSAT system can zip the header of the VoIP pack; As required by the users, the VSAT system can utilize the Qos function to set up the priority levels for the small stations and small station groups groups, so as to make the VoIP service remote station has higher priority than the other small stations

China Mobile
Link Calculation and Result The base station access selects LDPC 8PSK for outbound and TPC QPSK for inbound,; The C-band remote stations adopts 3-meter antenna and a 5W amplifier. The VoIP remote station has the same configuration; The Ku-band remote stations adopts 2.4-meter antenna and a 8W amplifier. The VoIP remote station has the same configuration;

Case: China Mobile

Via processing the deduction record output by real time online charging system (OCS) and real time balance (RTB), the offline charging system can generate corresponding customer free resource and balance accumulation in the memory, ensuring the accumulation and balance data of offline charging system is consistent with that of the online charging system. When OCS and online memory data base malfunctions, according to the backup OCS accumulation and balance, the offline charging system will conduct cashing and primary credit control control, and generate a temporary disaster tolerance state state. DCC proxy will undertake service control according to the temporary disaster tolerance state. If the customer has no such a state, the service control will be conducted according to the customer state before the malfunction, thus realizing the disaster tolerance to OCS in an overall way.
