The Legacy Mass of Resurrection

When I die, give what is left of me to children.

If you need to cry,
cry for your brothers walking beside you.
Put your arms around anyone
and give them what you need to give to me.
I want to leave you with something,
something better than words or sounds.
Look for me in people I have known and loved.
And if you cannot live without me, then let me live on
in your eyes, your mind and your act of kindness.
You can love me most by letting hands touch hands
and letting go of children that need to be free.
Love does not die, people do.
So when all that is left of me is love . . .
Give me away . . .

With Gratitude
We would like to express our deepest appreciation for
your thoughtfulness and our sincerest gratitude for
your love, prayers, and support during this difficult
time. You have touched our hearts. Justino Garzon

OPENING HYMN

RECESSIONAL HYMN ON EAGLES’ WINGS

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,

Who abide in His shadow for life,
SONG OF FAREWELL
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust." (Refrain)
(Refrain)
May the choirs of angels come to greet you
(Refrain)
May they speed you to paradise
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
May the Lord enfold you in His mercy
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
May you find eternal life
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
The Lord is my light and my help
It is he who protects me from the harm
The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
The Lord is the strength of my days
And famine will bring you no fear;
Before whom shall I tremble with fear (Refrain)
Under His Wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield. (Refrain)
There is one thing I ask of the Lord
That He grant me my heart-felt desire
You need not fear the terror of the night,
To dwell in the courts of our God
Nor the arrow that flies by day,
Ev’ry day of my life in His presence (Refrain)
Though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come. (Refrain)
O Lord hear my voice when I cry
Have mercy on me and give answer
For to His angels He's given a command,
Do not cast me away in your anger
To guard you in all of your ways,
For you are the God of my help (Refrain)
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone. (Refrain)
I am sure I shall see the Lord’s goodness
I shall dwell in the land of the living
Hope in God, stand firm, and take heart
Place all your trust in the Lord (Refrain)
