Committee Members Dear friends of R.E.A.C.H.,

2003/04
It may seem a long time since you heard from us, but that does
not mean that we’ve been sitting back and smelling the roses!
Actually we have been smelling the roses, but only to make sure
that no banned pesticides and fertilizers are used. As a matter of

fact, the last five months have been one of the busiest for our

Secretary We have continued, probably our most important function, with
Zulkifli bin Md. Ariffin numerous community education and awareness programs. To
date R.E.A.C.H. has held talks and exhibitions to over 500 people

secondary schools, local banks, campsites, hotels and residential

Management team (aka the recycling team) can be found in this
issue.

Amran bin Nazar Khan As R.E.A.C.H. becomes more established, we have also been
invited to participate in a number of national and international
Cheam May Choo environmental conferences. In June, we attended the WET (World



Kiara, KL. At this expo, two of our committee members, Dr. Liau

R.E.A.C.H. is a CBO (Community Based Organization) that relies

give generously, as well as offer yourselves as volunteers to help

 store surprised to find that almost 500 members had not renewed their
R.E.A.C.H. membership! We know that this is not because you do
 not care about Cameron Highlands or the environment but more
probably because you have not had the opportunity to do so.

 Well, do not fear. Our AGM is scheduled for 3 PM, Saturday,
15th January, 2005 at the Heritage Hotel, Tanah Rata. Please
