Lance Zeibarth President Roers Construction Inc. 200 45th St Fargo, ND 58103 Dear Mr. Zeibarth, Greetings. I am writing in regards to the recent Project Manager position you have available with your company, Roers Construction. I am student of North Dakota State University majoring in Construction Management with a minor if Business with two years left of study. I have been working in the construction field since 16 and aim to continue to better my work for years to come. As a North Dakota native, I have seen many of Roerss projects and capabilities. Each one has impressed me and I would feel very fortunate to be a part of such a distinguished company. I believe I would be a hardworking, well qualified Project Manager and would strive to make a company succeed. My degree of Construction Management is tailored toward project coordination and an overall knowledge of the different phases and types of construction. My minor studies in Business will also help with the financial aspect of budgets, profits, and expenses along with customer service aspects of construction. Through previous work experience, I started with hands on construction labor and worked up into other roles. These includes helping with estimation, scheduling, equipment purchasing and operating, and contract handling. I aim to be in position handling all these tasks amongst other ones. As a member of the U.S Army National Guard I have learned many things in construction and have grown as a person. The Guard has taught me about leadership and teamwork. We work with strict timelines and budgets all while maintaining safety and good communication. My specialty job in the Guard is a Carpentry/Masonry Specialist. This position is similar to a Project Manager in that we work from plans to construct buildings while procuring our own materials, labor, and equipment needed. We act as a small construction company with laborers, foremen, superintendents, and mangers. The guard has made me confident in my abilities and increased my knowledge in the aspects of construction. Thank you for reading and taking time to look over and consider my application papers. If you are interested, I would be happy to meet with yourself and Roers to further discuss the position and myself. You may contact me with any of my given information and I will accommodate to your request and schedule as I am able to. I would be able to begin work within the next month if desired and willing negotiate job terms and conditions. If accepted, I will give my best to each project, each day. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Trent A. Hagen
