The word coconut means the sitting sensation in the island paradise. 6n realit', a minimum of > = 4 billion coconut trees are harvested each 'ear, with +5 million coconuts e)ported b' "hilippines and 6ndia, ma(ing them the largest e)porters of coconut in the world. /lso, coconut harvesting pla's a ver' important role in the econom' of man' developing countries. Anfortunatel' despite its mass distribution and wide spread around the world, coconut harvesting is still done without proper safet' measures which can lead to serious casualties. 6n this paper, we discuss various models for tree climbing and pluc(ing. &e have ta(en into account the safet', reliabilit', the ease of use which is capable of climbing trees, cutting down coconuts, cleaning the tree tops and spra'ing pesticides. This s'stem is so designed that it can be controlled b' an'one ?irrespective of their educational qualifications@ using it.
