All the District Level Heads are requested to notify the name, address and contact
telephone numbers of the notified PIO and APIO in the local newspapers as well as in the
concerned offices. All the Heads of the Departments are requested to conduct a training
to the Public Information Officers and enable them to perform their duties as provided in
the Act. A register will be maintained by every Asst. Public Information Officer to
record the applications received seeking information and the action taken on the
applications. HODs concerned will review the status on monthly basis.
