Have you ever wondered how light color and intensity can change a plants growth?

Well plant growth can be affected on different kinds of color and the amounts that is brought upon them. Without light given to a plant it process through photosynthesis and plant growth would barly or never happen. So how does different colors of lights help plant growth? The colors of lights that are the most important are the light colors, the different lights colors do to a plant, how light can be great for growing plants. So with red and blue having the greatest impact on plant growth and green is the least affective to produce plant growth.(Whiting,David) Blue light is primary responsible for vegetative leaf growth while red light combined with blue light, encourages flowering.(Whiting,David) Fluorescent cool white lamps are high in the blue range, and the best choice for starting seeds indoors. For flowering plants that need more red light, use broad spectrum fluorescent bulbs.Incandescent lights are high in red and red-orange, but generally produce too much heat for use in supplementing plant growth.(Arizona) Well now you maybe asking how much should I use of this light? So how is light intesity important for plants to grow? Light intensity is important to plants by the amount they get, is light intesity important, and how much light intensity affects a plant. The suns rays are broken up into 6 different colors like red,blue,yellow,purple,green and orange. So when thoughs lights are upon a plant it absorbs the colors like orange and red and reflexes green and that is cholophyll to a plant.When that cholophyll dies mostly around the fall the chlorophyll kicks into the plant and starts to reflex the red and orange and

absorb the green.So the sun is a major contributer to light because it is our power source
