SPP split case pumps can be custom engineered to suit particular requirements including: Flexibility in choice of materials of construction - major components such as casings, impellers, shafts and wear rings can be provided in a variety of materials options - to suit the liquid being handled and the site environmental conditions. Choice of design options - horizontal, vertical, close coupled or vertical open shaft configuration; with clockwise or counter clockwise rotation - offers flexibility to suit installation. Pumps can be provided in a variety of flange drillings in accordance with European and American standards. Standard SPP features include: Low NPSH requirements and high efficiency double entry francis vane impeller offers minimum NPSH requirements and maximum pump efficiency offers long term operational reliability and lower running costs. Balanced axial loads for maximum bearing life - double suction design virtually eliminates axial thrust and reduces bearing loads. Ease of maintenance - top half of pump casing can be removed to allow service of the rotating element without need to disturb piping system. Compact SPP design increases seal and bearing life.
