MARRIAGE MUHURTA

It is generally said that marriages are made in heaven, and the person we get married is also pre-destined. But can we also say the same in terms of the marriage Muhurta too. Can we escape (retreat) our bad karma, by just striving and fixing the best Muhurta? My opinion here is not to ridicule Muhurta, but on the contrary being an ardent lover of this divine subject, just wanted to present this case study of Marriage Muhurta along with the Chart of the native, where in spite of immense effort to rectify the present and future, we cannot escape the law of karma, and in spite of immense human trials, as the saying goes Man Proposes, God disposes. How the Marriage muhurta was fixed by a temple priest, leading to the scrutiny of time. As per the Rules of Marriage Muhurta:
Generally, the day when moon transits in these constellations (nakshatras): Rohini, Mrigasira, Makha, Uttara, Hastha, Swathi, Anuradha, Moola, Uttarashada, Uttarabhadra, Revathi are considered as best. When moon transits Aswini, Chitra, Sravanam, Dhanishta, it considered as moderate day for marriage, Rest should be avoided. is

Days suitable for performing Marriage Ceremony: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday are best, and the days to be avoided are Sunday, Saturday and Tuesday. Tithis like Dwadasi, Chaturthi, Shashti ,Ashtami, Navami, Trayodasi, Chaturdasi and Amavasya are not recommended and rest are suitable. Pratipat, Chaturthi, Ashtami, Navami, Chaturdasi, Krishna Chaturthi, Ashtami, Navami, Shashti, Chaturdasi and Amavasya are not suitable for marriage. Marriage Muhurta Lagna (Ascendant or rising sign) should be picked in such a way where, the 7th house should be vacant. (only moon closer to full Moon day is exempted in few cases). Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces are best lagnas for marriage. Jupiter or Venus should be in lagna or aspecting it(the best possible time).

All evil planets like Rahu, Ketu, Saturn, Sun, Mars should be avoided placement or aspect on 7th house. Mars should not be placed in 8th house of muhurta and Venus should not be in 6th house. Also, two siblings from same family should not get married on same date. Jupiter or Venus in combust with Sun should be avoided.

The current Marriage Muhurat is a perfect example where the temple priest has followed the Vedic norms; by selecting a dual sign for Lagna or a fruitful sign as lagna (fruitful signs are Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces). However, the negligence on the part of the priest by overlooking the primary significations of the marriage Muhurtha is clearly evident. Since this is marriage, the 07th house should be well protected. Here Sagittarius is rising. 07th lord shall be Mercury only. Its stars are Aslesha, Jyeshta and Revati. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. So Saturn, Ketu, 01,06,07,12 are linked. VMD is of Saturn upto Feb 2020, say 07 years from now. Next VMD is that of Mercury. Mercury signifies 07,10,12,11,02,03. But Nodes shall become very strong with this. Mercury-Ketu shall be quite detrimental. God forbids, but the Muhurta chart foretells that this marriage shall end in divorce.

In the previous issue of ASTROVISION in November 2012, we have explained the astrological indications on re-birth of a girl. We are trying to study in few more cases of re-birth and to make firm conclusions on the astrological indications on re-birth. Generally, Moons nodes are clear indicators on re-birth and Saturn, Mars and Sun are playing a very important role on this subject. In 1960, a girl named Gnanatilaka started talking about her previous birth and this was very popular news in Sri Lanka at that time. One scientist, a specialist on this subject from the University of Sri Lanka and an educated priest conducted a series of studies and were able to confirm the story and found the story of a boy, matching with the girls readings, who passed away in November 1954. The world famous Professor on Re-birth and Reincarnation, Dr. Ian Stevenson visited Sri Lanka to study this case. Moreover, considered that, this is one of the best studies in the subject. A large number of books and papers published by him contained this story as a very good case study. At this time, the death inflicting Saturn was transiting in Libra in conjunction with PNE Saturn with exact square aspect to transiting Mars in Aquarius in the PNE chart. Transiting Moon had come in conjunction with PNE Sun with trine aspects to PNE Rahu and Pluto. Transiting Jupiter was in conjunction with PNE position of Uranus, with trine aspect to PNE Venus. Mercury at the time of accident was in conjunction with PNE Neptune and in opposition to its PNE position. When we a do a comparison of the planetary positions at the time of accident with that birth, we have noted as follows; Moon at the time of accident was in conjunction with pre natal Sun. Accident Mars was in trine to natal Mars. Both in the PNE chart and in the death chart, Saturn was in Libra in conjunction. Rebirth Jupiter was in Leo in conjunction with death Pluto. Death Mars is in trine aspect to PNE position. In the rebirth chart, we could see that the Sun is deposited in the sign of Aquarius. This shows that the native is seeking revolution and evolution from her previous life. The seventh aspect of Pluto to Sun will accrue the situation, especially with regard to revolution. Rebirth Moon is also in the sign of Aquarius. The south node Ketu is in Taurus. This Moon is receiving a square aspect to from Mars. This Moon is showing the motherly nature of the past life. We have noted a very special feature of the reborn girl in this case and the previous case, that both these reborn, when they visited their previous families, they had some type of grudges with the former brothers. This shows that the reborn have not forgotten the past completely, but continuing the unsolved characteristics in the new births too. This is a very special feature in the reborn that they continue their behaviours from the previous lives, whether they are good or bad.

OM GAJAANANAM NAMAMHYAM CUSPAL STAR LORD: In this issue as a twelfth article on Cuspal Star Lord for Meena Lagna is taken up.
