(1) Crude Death Rate (CDR) is number of deaths during the year divided by mid-year population and multiplied by 1,000. (2) Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is the ratio of infant deaths to live births during the year multiplied by 1,000. (3) Total Fertility Rate
(TFR) is the number of live births during a year per 1,000 female population aged 15-49 years at the midpoint of the same year. (4) Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is the number of maternal deaths in the age group 15-49 years per one lakh live birth.
