No (Description of Information sought (upto 500 characters) * Description of Information Sought The Directorate of Advertising Visual Publicity (DAVP) is the nodal agency to undertake multimedia advertising and publicity for various Ministries and Departments of Government of India. Some of the Autonomous Bodies also route their advertisements through DAVP. As a service agency, it endeavours to communicate at grass roots level on behalf of various Central Government Ministries. State Emblem of India used by these Government Institutions in their advertisement, either released through DAVP or directly but I am sorry to say that many advertisements released and published insulting State Emblem of India because Emblem published with out motto Devnagiri words Satyamev Jayete, which is the violation of the State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005 but we are failed to prosecute the offenders due to section 8 of this Act because pre prosecution sanction required from the Minister of Home Affairs or any authorized person but no one is appointed yet and power vest in Minister of Home Affairs. Hence following information required under RTI Act, 2005: 1. Attached advertisement issued by DAVP along with objectionable State Emblem of India, please supply me request received by the DAVP to release this advertisement, list of publication, in which this matter published along with the copy of released order for publication. 2. Supply me the noting parts of the matter scrutinized, as stated above. 3. Total amounts to be released after publication of said advertisement. 4. Complete list of advertisements released and published through DAVP with objectionable State Emblem of India with out motto till date. 5. Payments released and pending, in case of point 4 above.

6. Supply me the copies of any circular, advisory and office orders issued to all concerned after complaint lodged by Naresh Kadyan, Abhishek Kadyan and Sukanya Kadyan about State Emblem of India with out motto. 7. Supply me the copies of action taken against the official concerned for the blunder mistake, crime against State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005.
