Weapons of Stromfels.

Each weapon was part of the original trident of Stromfels.

Swords of Stromfels.
- One owned by Blackbeard. This sword of Stromfels' channeled mystical unearthly powers, including the ability and capacity to bring dead matter to life. This power is mainly enforced on e erything associated with ships at sea !but ha e being seeing to ha e some lesser power on land when near the sea", including their rigging and sails, and mo e according to the indomitable will of whome er wielded it. - One undisco ered. The Swords of Stromfels are legendary broadswords. #ni$ue among other swords, these weapons possessed a strengthened, ridged and lightened blade that narrowed down all the way to its broad steel hand-guard, a %eweled hilt. &olding far more power than meets the eyes, the Swords of Stromfel channeled mystical unearthly powers. 'ysteries surrounds this infamous blades and their history. The Swords of Stromfels was rumored to ha e been forged by the legendary sea deity Stromfels himself. These was embedded with one of the three sapphires of Stromfels' ery own trident, the sapphire ga e the swords their powers.

Spear of Stromfels:

Amulet of Warning.
This amulet is made of silver with one of three black pearls in the middle, thought to be part of Stromfels' crown. This amulet enables its wielder to determine the location, depth, kind, and number of a$uatic predators within ()) feet. * *mulet of +arning must be grasped and pointed in order for the character using it to gain such information, and it re$uires , round to scan a hemisphere with a radius of ()) feet.

Horn of the Stromfels.


This device is a large, fine carved horn in the form of a conch shell. -t can be blown once per day e.cept by a +recker or /aagon, which can sound it three times per day. * &orn of the Stromfels can perform any one of the following functions when blown. - 0alm rough waters in a ,-mile radius. This effect dispels a summoned +ater Elemental. - *ttract 1d2 3arge Sharks !),-4)5", 4d6 'edium Sharks !4,-2)", or 7d7 Sharks !2,-,))" if the character is in a body of water in which such creatures dwell. The creatures are friendly and obey, to the best of their ability, the one who sounded the horn. - 0auses a$uatic creatures with -ntelligence scores of ,( or higher within 4)) feet to become panicked as if they had been targeted by fear. *ny sounding of a &orn of the Stromfels can be heard by all +reckers and /aagons within a 4-mile radius.

Orb of Storms.
This glass-like black sphere is 8 inches in diameter, and was thought to be the centre pearl of Stromfels' crown. The possessor can call forth all manner of weather, e en supernaturally destructi e storms. Once per day they can call upon the orb to use a control weather command, Once per month, they can con%ure a storm of engeance command. The possessor of the orb is continually protected by its effect. 0ontrol weather8 9ou change the weather in the local area. -t takes ,) minutes for the weather to be effected and an additional ,) minutes for the effects to manifest. 9ou can call forth weather appropriate to the climate and season of the area you are in. 9ou control the general tendencies of the weather, such as the direction and intensity of the wind. 9ou cannot control specific applications of the weather - where lightning strikes, for e.ample, or the e.act path of a tornado. +hen you select a certain weather condition to occur, the weather assumes that condition ,) minutes later !changing gradually, not abruptly". The weather continues as you left it for the duration, or until you use a standard action to designate a new kind of weather !which fully manifests itself ,) minutes later". 0ontradictory conditions are not possible simultaneously.

The rain obscures all sight, including night ision, beyond ( feet. Speed is reduced by three points to a minimum of ,. >anged attacks within the area of the storm are impossible. Spells cast within the area are disrupted unless the caster succeeds on a meditation roll, still with only half effect.

&istols of 'ing (eath.
Legend says that lack-!yrd himself carried the "istols of #ing $eath. !hether he has somehow lost them or this set is a copy is unknown% whatever their origin they are an unassuming pair of pistols of &stalian make, shod in iron with a stylised skull as the only maker's mark. Thought lost when his lifeless body was thrown into the dark sea, they seem to make their way to any pirates who is destined for great things... or destined for an eternity in hell. This brace of pistols fires without recourse to powder, although they still need shot, thus they are unaffected by being wet. The pistol shows signs of wear and e'posure to the elements, but its walnut stock, nickel plated barrel, and gold accents are of fine craftsmanship, and its mechanisms still move with precision. - *rmour ?iercing. - *ll failed to hit rolls with these pistols may be re-rolled.

"irates who have lost a hand or arm due to in(ury can be fitted with a sharpened metal hook. )ne such pirate was Lucky Levi, so called for the many wounds he had survived during his career. ut while he had lost a leg, an eye, and most of his wits, it was the hook replacing his lost hand that would become the most famous of his possessions. This crude but effective piratical prosthetic allows its wielder to strike with inhuman strength, telling of its magical powers. - *ll attacks with this hook are made at @,(5 strength.

)rder is often maintained aboard the ship with the threat of the lash. *n battle the long barbed whip is also seen, but this time dealing out punishment to the enemy. The vicious loody +ora is crueller than any other, lasing out at the pirate's enemies. *n the hands of a skilled wielder, it will tear at a multitude of foes with a single stroke. - The wielder of this weapon gains an attack e$ual to the number of attackers within range of strike.

,idebrea)er.

Taken from the belly of a large sea monster slain by ,armen Sicilieri many years ago, this cutlass glimmer with a menacing light and is capable of slicing through the thickest of armour. - *ll attacks from this swords ignore up to 4 armour points.

loody ill's rampage was successful if short-lived, no doubt thanks his famous enchanted buckler that he always carried into battle. This small shield allowed him to counter almost any attack made by either a'e or blade with little effort. -nfortunately for ill, it didn't save him from the cannon ball that tore his head clean off. - Buckler. The wielder gain @,) to parry rolls, and the enemy -( to hit rolls.

Slopp* /rui%)shan)+s "ong$lost /utlass.


The "rince of Trantio awarded this cutlass to Sloppy ,ruickshank, the .dmiral of the /oyal +avy at the time, for his skill in battle. *mmediately after receiving this great boon, ,ruickshank set the palace abla0e, stole the fastest ship in the fleet, and began his life of piracy on the high seas. eing Sloppy ,ruickshank's favourite weapon, this cutlass made the pirate captain the toast of a hundred drinking dens. - The first attack directed towards the wielder in each round of 0lose 0ombat automatically misses. -n addition, they gain @( to hit roll and the armour piercing special rule.

Whalebone /harm.
Superstitious inhabitants of the )ld !orld often bedeck themselves with various lucky charms and trinkets, and sailors are no e'ception. Sailors particularly pri0e Scrimshaw charms formed from !halebone, praying 1edge !i0ards to enchant them or seeking a "riest of a nautical god, such as 2anann or Stromfel, to bless them. ,arved from the remains of a mighty whale, the charm is whittled with care and said to bring luck to anyone who wears it. !ho knows, there might be something to it. - +hen used, enemies must re-roll successful rolls to wound against the wearer for the duration of the turn. -n addition, when the wearer would normally lose their last +ound, this automatically negated on a ,(5.

"u%)* Smasher.
#rusher gained his nickname during a maelstrom off the &stalian coast, where the anchor broke loose of the windlass, dooming the entire crew. Their lives were saved by the young ogre warrior on-board, #rusher who single handed held onto the cable throughout the storm. #rusher has use it in every battle since, wielding the lucky chunk of metal in his massive fist. - 0ount as a great weapon, may re-roll failed to hit.

Sawfish Sabre.
*t is said that .ranessa crafted this sabre herself, mimicking the ra0or-ship teeth of the sawfish that make up her legs. This weapon causes grieve wounds, and victims more often than not die after an encounter due to the heavy loss of blood. - 0ount as a hand weapon, with poisoned attack special rule.

*t is not known where ,aptain 3iacchino has actually found this cutlass. &very time he tells the story, apart from it being 4uite confusing, a little detail is different. *t is know however% that the cutlass seems to respond to how much danger the wielder is in, allowing them to parry attacks with even greater ease. 1ow convenient it also is that the blade is somewhat longer than other pirate cutlasses, so 3iacchino can keep a 5sharp distance5 from his enemies when needed. - 0ounts as a hand weapons !sword", grants its wielder a @(5 to parry and for each wound suffered !to a ma.imum of 4" gains @( more to the parry roll.

Arab*an Sp*$glass.
This spyglass allows the user to see the smallest details over long distances. - This Spyglass, can be used to re eal all hidden 'agical -tems.

-odge+s 0ug of -ugger.

odge was an alchemist, who was slightly bonkers. The son of a potter, he never 4uite forgot his upbringing, and is known for creating a series of magical mugs, brilliantly carved, that impart all manner of effect. - Bodge's 'ug will once a day refill it self with the last li$uid that has been drunk from it, when used in a toast.
