A MOTION to APPROVE the request from the Monsignor Clarke School for their annual Beat the Chill, Climb the Hill 5K Road Race to be held on Saturday March 1, 2014 subject to approval of state and local regulations. 2. A MOTION to APPROVE the request from the RI State Police for its annual 5K Foot Pursuit Road Race to be held on Sunday April 27, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm, subject to approval of state and local regulations. 3. A MOTION to APPROVE the request from Gray Matter Marketing and the Narragansett Historical Society to conduct the second annual Ocean Road 10K road race to be held on Sunday October 5, 2014 from 7:00 am to 11:00 am subject to approval of state and local regulations. 4. A MOTION to APPROVE the request from The Lung Cancer Foundation for a 5K Road Race to be held on Saturday October 11, 2014 at 11:30 am, subject to approval of state and local regulations. 5. A MOTION to APPROVE the list of Real Estate abatements in the amount of $50,416.42 and the list of Motor Vehicle abatements in the amount of $267.21. 6. A MOTION to APPROVE the contract extension for Security System Maintenance & Improvement Services with TSG Solutions, Inc. and Galaxy Integrated Technologies, at their quoted rates for a one-year period, ending June 30, 2014. 7. A MOTION to APPROVE the contract extension for Architectural/Engineering Services with all eight (8) vendors, at their quoted rates for a one-year period, ending October 14, 2014. 8. A MOTION to APPROVE a contract with the Hach Company for the purchase of laboratory vials/tubes for the Wastewater Division for a one (1) year period. 9. A MOTION to APPROVE the contract extension for the purchase of Winter Road Sand from Cardi Corporation, in the amount of $11.95 per ton delivered, for the 2013/2014 winter season. 10. A MOTION to APPROVE the use of the State of Rhode Island Master Price Agreement #61 for purchase of Goodyear and Michelin tires and related services for the period ending March 31, 2015. 11. A MOTION to APPROVE the proposal for Security System Software Support at various Town facilities from Galaxy Integrated Technologies, Inc., in the amount of $2,979.87 for the period August 3, 2012 to August 3, 2014. 12. A MOTION to APPROVE the purchase of two (2) Beach Access PathMats from OBrien & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $3,398.00. 13. A MOTION to APPROVE the purchase of five (5) male and one (1) female Armor Express Level IIIA Bullet Proof Vests from AAA Police Supply, in the amount of $5,370.00 ($895.00 each). 14. A MOTION to AWARD the bid for the Purchase of Floating Dock Materials for the Middlebridge marina from the lowest bidder, Merco Marine, in the amount of $10,921.00.

15. A MOTION to REJECT the bids for Digital Logging Recorder and authorizes the staff to re-bid the project with an amended scope of work. 16. A MOTION to GRANT PERMISSION to Gary Kozak and CRM Modular Homes to move a modular home over the streets of Narragansett to 14 Eire Road during the period of the month January, 2014, subject to local and state regulations. OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS: 17. A MOTION to APPOINT Laura Kenyon as Finance Director for the Town of Narragansett, under the advice and consent of the Town Council, pursuant to the Narragansett Town Charter. 18. A MOTION to APPROVE a contract with James J. Geremia & Associates, Inc. for survey and design services for the Wood Avenue and South Trail Sewer Project, in the amount of $16,680.00. 19. A MOTION to APPROVE the proposal for professional engineering services related to Task 2A of Phase II of the Road Improvement Project with BETA Group, Inc., in the total amount of $18,200.00. 20. A MOTION to APPROVE the purchase of one (1) new 2014 Chevy 3500 HD 4x4 Dump Truck with Plow for the Parks and Recreation Department from Imperial Municipal Partners (I.M.P.), in the amount of $42,458.00. 21. A MOTION to APPROVE the purchase of a new Telephone System for Town Hall and all other Town Facilities, excluding Police and Fire, from Carousel Industries in the amount of $78,355.07, using the State of Rhode Island Master Price Agreement No. 404. 22. A MOTION to APPROVE the amendments to the Appropriation Ordinance for FY 2013-14 and the transfer of funds to purchase the Fire Chiefs Vehicle. 23. A MOTION to APPOINT/REAPPOINT an individual to the Economic Development Committee for a three year term which will expire on December 1, 2016. 24. A MOTION to APPOINT/ REAPPOINT two individuals as Tree Wardens for a one year term which will expire on February 19, 2015. 25. A MOTION to APPOINT/REAPPOINT three individuals to the Historic District Commission for Three year terms which will expire January 1, 2017 and reappoint an alternate for a one year term which will expire on January 1, 2015. 26. A MOTION to APPOINT one (1) member from the Town Council to serve on the negotiations team for collective bargaining with the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees Rhode Island Council 94 Local 1179.

REPORTS FROM TOWN MANAGER: REPORTS FROM TOWN COUNCIL: EXECUTIVE SESSION: A MOTION to RETIRE to Executive Session at the end of the January 6, 2014 town council meeting as in accordance with 42-46-4 to discuss Litigation Charles Van Brocklin v Town of Narragansett et al in accordance with RI General Laws 42-46-5 (a) (2) and appoint Mark A. McSally, Town Solicitor as Clerk Pro Tem.
