WANTED
Kind person to look after one small, easy-care dog while Julie Manson is in Melbourne for surgery for about 5 days from January 8th. Poppy, a MalteseShitzu cross is house trained, food supplied and will pay board. Please contact Julie (5523 4972 or 0418 305 093) if you can help or for more details. Thank you. Michael and Tash Ruthenberg who are travelling around Australia and who visited us on the 15th of last month; sent the following: To Portland Baptist Church, My wife and I just wanted to say thank you for your fellowship and friendly welcome. Early in December we had the privilege of attending a morning service and were invited by Len to Drik Drik for Christmas carols. We really enjoyed this time of fellowship and also our stay at the Mitchells farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Portland & we wanted to say thank you for making us feel so welcome. We pray for the direction you are taking as a church and for wisdom as you reach your local community for Jesus. Thanks again and may God continue to bless you all.

SUFM - a few more days ... RELAY FOR LIFE


Monday 6th - Wednesday 8th January We are delighted to welcome some of the SUFM Beach Mission Team to our service today and thank them for presenting the Childrens Talk! SUFM has taken over the Foreshore with great talent and energy this past week - and theyre not done yet! If you have not had a chance to see this annual program for yourself, we would like to encourage you to come to the Bentinck Street lawns at 10:30am and/or 7:00pm this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Be prepared for all weather and bring a chair. The final day is this Wednesday 8th January, when the Grand Finale Concert Night is not to be missed! 10:30am: Singing, dramas, puppets, lots of action, crafts each week day! 7:00pm: Different each night, all great fun - includes Sunset Serial!

Parents are welcome to use the room off the foyer, with activities for children up to 2 years old, if your child is unsettled. It is soundlinked to the auditorium. Sunday School is now in recess and will resume on February 2nd.

Parents & Tots Room

Pray for Gods hand upon each Team member, for good health and stamina and for Gods message to be joyfully expressed to record audiences this season. Pray for every person - child or adult - who attends the program, that their lives will be touched and changed by the Spirit of God.
