AFFIDAVIT

I, Lydia T. Guron, 34 years of age, married a resident of Bancangan, Naguilian, La Union, after being sworn to an oath in accordance with law, do hereby state and depose that:

1. Janeth Farinas Plandez was introduced to me by my friend Daisy G. Fontanos. Fontanos knew Plandez for the latter had helped Fontanos uncle, Pedro Galvan, to deployed and work in Palau as a driver. 2. With the belief and trust with Plandez that she can deploy me abroad, I decided to apply and work abroad to help finance the needs of my children. Thereby, Plandez started recruiting me to work in Palau. 3. On May 13, 2013, I went to Manila for my medical examination together with my uncle and Fontanos. 4. Plandez assured me that I will be deployed in Palau soon as possible provided I can pay the necessary fees needed to facilitate my application. She demanded, for several times, monies from me amounting to wit: P5,000.00, P 10,000.00, P 5,000.00, P 7,000.00 in which these were given to her on different dates where no receipts being issued to me. I also incurred other expenses such as travel expenses and fees for the series of medical examinations I have undergone. 5. The amount of money I have given to her was taken from the chattel mortgage I executed over my tricycle, being the only source of our income, for an amount of P25,000.00 and earning an interest of P2,000.00 starting from May 2013. I told Plandez I need the money to pay our debts. Plandez promised me that I can go to Palau by the first week of June 2013 but to no avail I was not deployed. 6. Despite of our efforts of contacting Plandez, she kept on promising us to be ready because any time I can already go and flight for abroad. The last time I talked to her, she again assured me the on September 2013, I will be able to flight and work abroad as soon as our papers will be released. 7. Plandez even told us that my work there would be in a Club, however, only wearing bras and panties during work. Upon learning the work offered to me I disagreed with her. I told her that I will not continue to go for abroad. I also learned from Fontanos that Palau is not open for hiring female workers as she was informed by her uncle.

8. I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the allegations mentioned here and for legal intents and purposes that it may be worth.
